Anyone dislikes the Harsh Corporate World in Singapore?

  I working as a small position as a clerk, the workload is not easy. Imagine climbing up the corporate stairs, we face more workload and no OT pay. The boss will say it is your job to finish it.   When you can , just get yourself a skill in demand (i.e. accountancy with finance major/statistician etc ) and a degree or begin with a diploma and work your way up. That way, you are not restricted in your mobility to get out of a bad job if need be .
  
  I would think most of us started off working damn hard and then when there is a chance at climbing - some snatch the opportunity to do so. If there is a chance of going somewhere better and getting a life , some will go like I did.

  I find it so stupid... great fools... they backstab just to climb up the corporate ladder? Is it worth that much to them? not so to me.
  
  I'll be contented sticking around at home looking after the kids like any dowdy housewife.
  
  that's why i'm gonna switch to architecture... but my parents will kill me~

  if u dunwant to join the harsh corporate world, u better acquire some skill whereby u can work from home. maybe web designing, free-lance beautician...architectural work.....u r paid on assignments-basis.....no CPF but u still have deadlines......
  or if u hate ur current job, go into sales.....go out meet clients etc.... come back throw everything to mid office and ops...lol....

  everyone have different ideas, thinking, ambitions, goals in life.. However to reach that ideal, there is always a price to pay. You can always say someone is morally right, ethically wrong etc, but if he is willing to pay the price for his ideals, legally, illegally, with morals, or values. what can u say? who are we to dictate or choose the path of another person's life?

  Well...every job has its good and shitty parts..but most important are your boss and colleagues as they are the one that will make the shitty parts less shitty...
  
  So since u are still young..slowly find a job where u have good people to work with....

  Think about this, is it the work itself, or the ppl around that makes a working
  environment unbearable?
  
  If u dun like the work itself (jobscope), it's work then. that can be helped if
  we change job.
  
  But if we hate the human factor in the workplace, it's gonna be the same
  everywhere, only hate more or hate less.
  
  If that's the case, why not be in a job that is worth the effort putting up with
  the human factor? i mean something that u love, something that u dun hate
  going to when u get up every morning.
