Call me a player or what...recently (18wks ago) heartbroken over a 3yr+ r-ship as buddies like doko can tell. Really tough, so now I realize something, I'm no longer looking for the "right one" the lifelong partner or the "wife material". I'm looking for company, people to do activities with, to watch a show and dine together or simply to meet-up chat and shop with. So for the past 5weeks, I've seen and been with a variety of girls, the girly ones to the womanly ones. Those older den me and younger too. I don't know, but for now quite frankly I quite like this lifestyle, no commitments so there's no hurt no sorrow. They and I alike are free to go after the date. So yeah, I've found the lifestyle which I want for now.

No lah. Now relationships help us to like learn lessons which would be useful for us when we get older and go into the SUPER SERIOUS relationships. And some relationships from sec sch and stuff DO LAST. My parents and my teacher
's experience is a good example -

I think this topic got its bad point and good point la.
Personally, i've been into many r/s and been through many breakups.
R/S can be complicated and demanding. It needs alot of understand and effort to maintain it. Expect the unexpected at times. Learn to move on. Experience gain will be necessary in future r/s. Dont because of a few breakup then come to a conculsion that single is good.
After my breakup last time (now im attach), i have all the time in the world to do anything i want. After some time, you just need someone who is there for you and you just wanna feel love again. The feeling that normal friends cant give and im not talking about sex.
If you feel that you want to fall in love, then i say, go ahead. Dont hold back and think about your sad past. Move on and go on. Love is everywhere and if it comes to you, your heart will know.
Before NS or After NS, it doesnt matter. If $ is an issue in an r/s, i suppose it can be work out. For my r/s, me n my gf never draw line between your money or mine. She is very thoughtful and she sometimes will pay for my meals. So, look for a nice girl and not those that want to suck your money like a leech.
Theres pros and cons in everything . Single is good and getting attach can also be good. I think must see how you handle the situation. -
1st of all : this thread.. the way u talk, sounds like an immature guy... no sense of understanding or what so ever.. u see only 1 path, not the other 5 possible paths.
2nd of all : there are good and bad things when u have a relationship. it depends on how an individual deals with it.
and finally : the way u state your points.. about money, learning.. etc etc..

All those calcualations and serious thinkings l hav tink
l juz think is not worth it to stead when u are young...l really think when we are young..we shld channel our energy into doing other things...mixing ard with frenz..learning more new things and focus on things we want to do..
But what u say oso makes sense that we need experience to grow and become a better person...
l hav gone through it before..and l think differently now..but sum ppl...they gone through le..but still dun noe how to tink..still find it lonely or want to hav a stead...so l am writing this to tell those ppl..not to ...as it isnt worth it..summore u hav get the experience le..no pt going into it le mah...wait till mature a bit more le...grow up , hav a stable job...den find...oso not very late mah -

Love cannot be plan and work accordingly, it's how you handle it.
If u think u cannot handle it at a young age then don't. But once you find the right gal, you won't let go. $$ can be the problem, but SG girl want you to have plan for your future and work hard for it. You may plan well with the right timing and age but if the girl don't suit u, better to give up rather than hang to it. Don't think that when u are ready there will be a right gal waiting for u. Just take whateven come by, the most important is not to regrat later on. Good gal r rare this days, u can only plan after u find the right one. -
Coin have 2 faces, so do r/s.
If r/s is handled properly, u enjoy it.
If not, too bad take it as an experience.
U will learn from it, when another f/s started,
u can handle better.

Nowadays...l am nt saying many...mst guys...are really desperate for gf...
l dun really see it as a must to hav at now..beside no gf...no gals...is it really that impt? Into a r/s..u have to be commited and hav the responsibility to manage it which is not very easy.
Lately hav a small chit chat with a female frenz in nyp...
She told me...that alot Nyp guys are damn disgusting...see 1 pretty gal...eyes open wide wide...look and look...
l laugh and say desperate bah... -

All said and done...it is simply not worth it to go stead in Sillypore.....
Just do the maths and its not worth it getting hitched and then having babies....let the PRCs and Indians from India do that....its so easy for them to get PR and there's a whole load of them waiting to get so that they can help us up the population.
As for the rest of us who were born here, we are getting out....better quality of life elsewhere.... -

What I think.
Being single or attached has its own pros and cons.
It takes 2 hands to clap, not one. No point lamenting on what the guy/girl should do to make each other or themselves happy.
If they love each other, all things come willingly and both would be happy. Howver, if it comes to a stage where one party is exploiting the other, its time for a reality check.
If all is good, the status quo is good. Leave it. As long as they are people, lets just wish all these happy couples happy and lasting relationships.

About the question u ask... l am not saying that r/s is bad thing..juz highliting that when we are young..dun really hav to focus alot on it...as l say in my post...waste of effort and waste of $ and time...if the r/s juz dun work out in the end...

About other guys behaviours, i think its their problem. For us we feel digusted but we cant do anything about it right? In the end , they are just giving a bad impression to the girls.
Dont be bothered so much about them la. Just take it as a joke lor.
