Cheating! - Where do you draw the line?

  Doing intimate stuff- hold hands, having sex, kissing and hugging around.
  
  Sending intimate sms or sending love letter- with words like 'I love u'.

  2)Talks about how if she had gone with that guy instead, maybe life will be better, even if she never talk about leaving me
  3)tells me lies. (ie, tell me she with gal friends, even though she is out ALONE with a guy)
  
  I was cheated once before(through the above examples), and hence i am skeptical. I don't mind she go out alone with a guy, or if she tells me frankly that she kinda have the hots for someone, as long as she tells me face-to-face. I would hate it if i have to find it out myself.

  I agree. But girls are always liars la.... they won't tell. Drop her once you find out.

  Cheating is Cheating. Whether it be physical or emotional.. its still cheating.
  
  If my boyfriend likes another girl while he is with me.. even if he didnt do anything physical with her.. I'd consider that cheating..
  
  Sorry but cheaters are losers. =D It'll definitely be over if my boyfriend ever cheated on me.

  Apparently you belong to the select majority group of 'he loves me more than I love him'. But I agree with you, you have the upperhand in the r/s and you are in the right anyway.

  Cheating is the end result. The problem usually occurs much earlier, that's why one party decides to take certain action to resolve the problems, and cheating is one of the way.
  
  But usually when he/she cheats, unless they're seasoned cheaters (meaning they don't like to commit to a serious relationship). then they'll usually realise cheating not only doesn't solve the problem but it makes them feel lousy because of guilt.
  
  It's hard to forgive your partner if he/she cheats. This is real.
  
  But if your partner really does, I guess the best thing we can do is to take that as a learning experience and see what we can change to make the next relationship better.
