This is a different age now compared to decades ago. Women have more freedom. They can earn themselves a living. But they will not give up that freedom. Last time, they play a traditional role and believed that in one husband. Women last time have not much say. Men have a lot of power last time. This is so in our Asian cultures.
Now, everybody is living through the lifestyle of democratic freedom and they are free to do whatever they like. Therefore the mindset is now different. Breakups occur more easily. Cheating, two-timing, etc occur more frequently. Usually, it's the girl who dumps the guy for another guy because she has grown tired of him and need a refreshment.

I beg to differ... I think generally guys being unfaithful is still more common than girls unfaithful.

I would just like to say that the percentage of guys being single/virgin is much lesser than girls who are single/virgin. It's the small minority of guys who are more unfaithful. Times have changed.
