internet the new way to meet people?

  i had a conversation with my collegue this week and we started with the topic of meeting people and guys from outside the office, he stated out that if we girls want to get to know more guys, the internet is the best way other than club... how true is this? is this really the new age way of getting know more people? is it really safe too?

  some ppl jus come here to chat and discuss topics, no intention of looking for mate
  but things jus happen loh...
  like go outing, get to know others better, and slowly progress from there....
  
  of cos, if u are relli coming online to find a husband or wife, u can go directly to dating sites.....

  If you have a platonic friends mindset, then it could be quite fun. There's this excitment of meeting someone 'blind' and you won't be upset if it's not some chio bu or 'jun nan'. My first time meeting was pretty interesting!

  In marketing, the effect is usually minimal if we only depend on one channel of advertising and promotion. It will yield better result if there is synergy between varieties of channels.

  internet's a good way to meet new people.. I made some really good friends over the net. But like.. its also pretty deceiving if you ask me. Some people are not what they're made out to be
