I always feel left out of groups and don't talk to people around me in school,have been having low self esteem and im always thinking people are looking down on me.
I remembered i always got bullied in primary school
as a result i always tend to shy away from others and
im now becoming more and more lonely
Is there any way to seek help for this

from here, u can start going to outings and meet frenly and fun ppl....... -
maybe try to find someone that's like u too so u can be friend with that person...since u and that person are like similiar types of ppl so shld be easier to get along....or can come on sgforum and be a totally diff personality from what u are in real life!!

The only way u can help yourself is to look at things you did well or have success in , reflect on the positive experiences . Go out and meet people to build your self esteem.

U feel lonely...becos u dun join in the crowd to chit chat and laugh..try to talk...and mst imptly..if u hav nthing to tok or shy...u can smile..smile to show ppl that u are friendly and okie..and l am sure ppl will approach u to chat with u de...
Confidence is sumtinz that is very impt....confidence not in terms of arrogant and rowdy...try to believe in urself...dun always belittle urself...Confidence is sumtinz that we cannot lack of...In future...when u grow up..u hav to wrk and cooperate with ppl in society, and oso need alot of interaction with diff types of ppl...and if u wanted to look for a gf or a gal..haha confidence is oso very impt ^^
l am not asking u to change in 1 or 2 day...slowly change, change a bit by a bit...haha l too take ard several yrs to understand and that is okie.. and l am now still learning and changing for the better =) -

But i used to have a classmate, got social problem... apparently he's really quite weird. You think you act different from other people or you just shy? Gotta evaluate your normal actions. Tell us and we can discuss. -

Ravenguy, if there's a single advice I could dispense, it'd be this : do not ever let others tell you you aren't good enough or that anything's impossible. More importantly, you need to believe in yourself(and by extension, have faith in your own abilities) and accept the fact that those who put you down really aren't better than you're.
At the end of the day, it's only the no-hopers who need to put you down to boost their self-esteem; exceptional/successful people wouldn't even have the time, much less find the need, to put you down.
Heeding the abovementioned is one thing, really convincing yourself to believe in it is another - ultimately, it's the latter that counts. -

hang out more with friends, find something which your friends and you have similar interests in and just do it. (it can be sports, games or whatever, just meet your friends and do the hobby or interests that you and your friends have interests in.) that's it
it's that simple.
don't worry, when i was that young as you, i am even more lonely compared to you. i myself opened up at the age of 16, quite slow, but once i open myself up, i different from my peers already.
don't worry, although you might be slow on this, being an introvert. once you open up, it's faster and easier to become an extrovert.
rainee yang chen lin is a typical example.
just that you need to hang around with the right and positive environment to be extrovert the good way la -

but in real life, be strong ok!
Like some forumers said, try to find ur what u're good at. Like if u're good in playing guitar, join a guitar club in cc and get to know new friends. It will b easier to mix with the same grp who share the same interest as u. From that onwards, you can learn to improve ur social skills.
Or you can start to practise ur speech in the mirror or learn from books/tvs/whatever entertainment that would benefit you.

To ah D: paiseh I still unable to do da minigolf outing coz got some issues lately. I not even got da night cycling outing to work... So sorry. BUT I look forward to getting one WHOLE bunch of forumites to go your house.
