Somehow it sounds strange when you mentioned 'minor' arguement followed by a 'big' crack? Why can't things just 'hang on'? Really has to be a 'make it' or 'break it' situation?
Somehow it just makes it sounds more like an empty talk as we're simply having no clue or whatsoever idea of what had exactly happened between you and your friend. Which is quite really the issue of the whole now.. Isn't it? -

Maybe what's in your mind are white lies?
But I still think between close friends there shouldn't be any lies. It's very tiresome to elaborate and go into the different kinds of lies people tell so I'm not going to do that. -
white lies are fine... but if the friend purposely do it to hurt you then different story...
