personally i think success is a personal opinion. if you value XXX a lot and achieves that, then you would deem yourself successful in XXX. but to someone who is not of the same mind, they might think you are just another person loh. -
Seriously, you could be earning more than the majority of Singaporeans your age, but not within your circle of friends. Why compare with your friends and give yourself unneccessary pressure?

i am around yr age and earning much much much lesser than you.
qualification wise not that bad but due to some reasons, i am feeling down, depress most of the time and not in the mood to compare with my peers or whoever.
attended the wedding of a cousin the other night, i can sense that because i am not doing well and some relatives try to shun me.
as for perm 2.5k is starting pay lah, after converting to perm there will be increment.
but on the whole, at least you can command 2.5k a month.
i feel that what makes some people stand out from the rest is their character, personality. some people have that kind of winning personality, so confident, ambitious, determination.... with that kind of mindset i think they will be able to succeed anywhere they go -

I am saying GENERALLY, if a person is rich, he is successful, in the general publics' eyes. If I have shizzloads of money and I dun have the health to spend it, I will use it to better my health. Compare this to a person who has bad health and NO money.
Think bottom line is about pratically and realism (If there's such a word)
