but just that, he has been through this, and has to also understand that it is something she has to do before starting another relationship (assuming they want this relationship to last)
I admit my initial statements are a bit too strong....
but If you love someone enough, you'll wait, won't you?
I got this from a sms when i treated that guy really harshly (which subsequently i regret cos he is still around and he is really nice). now i send these words to you.Originally posted by kuri:i cried incessantly and couldnt think bout anything when i saw that msg from him that he's telling himself to give up on me tho it hurts so bad i tot that's it. but after he called me just before i slept i felt alrite alr, seems like he still isnt now..i dunno how to comfort him..he says how he wish he can just hug me tightly now n never let go..i was melting a lil inside when i heard that..felt like hugging him and saying silly boy..i guess that's the least i could do to ease his pain..i'll meet him to give him a big hug later n hope he feels better..leave the thinking to after that ba..![]()

maybe I'm still naive/hopefull towards love.... heheheOriginally posted by blu_sky:See below (ie my signature).![]()
Well. We all define time as passing motion according to magnetism. Time is relativeOriginally posted by blu_sky:what is love beyond time?
If you don't need a reason to love, then what will sustain the love in the future to come?Originally posted by X-men:If you need a reason to love someone then it's not love.
It's a plot... you love in exchange for something.
wOw u just summarised the story.Originally posted by blu_sky:wow... agree.
but i think TS is emotionally attached to him now, and is therefore worried of losing him too.
Accepting him? she is not ready, and is insecured. And if she keeps treating him badly, it is juz a matter of time that he will leave.
Rejecting him now? she cant bear to.
If TS continues this, it is going to be a lose-lose situation for herself.
This kind of love is too painful.Originally posted by Bontakun:Well. We all define time as passing motion according to magnetism. Time is relativeaccording to Einstein, so we do things with time as relevance. You know how long is 1 second, 1 hour, 1 day, 1 decade.
Love beyond time (from my own perspective) is love that does not include time. You two could be anywhere yet you two still love each other. The time spent between you two could be short to other people (say 5 min?) but to you two its like an eternity.
Time has no relevance to the love you two have. You could spend years together and still feel its not enough. On the otherhand, you have only few seconds or not even one second to portray your love and it can feel like its there forever.
Even when that person has left you (for reasons unknown), you can still feel the love. The love which is supposedly past once you two are seperated but yet it is there. Its like getting 101/100 for some test.![]()
How so?Originally posted by blu_sky:This kind of love is too painful.

do you want so much pain in your life?Originally posted by Bontakun:How so?
No...Originally posted by blu_sky:did you watch Cold Mountain?
Yes, me too. There is only so many years we can live, why for a 5 min or 5 years, live the rest in memory (and agony?)?Originally posted by Bontakun:No...
Yes it is painful in a certain sense, and frankly speaking, I rather not have this. Its just that human emotions are fleeting and convictions not as strong as it is. Besides, we are mortal. We have to face death someday...
that's sweet yet painful.Originally posted by Bontakun:Well. We all define time as passing motion according to magnetism. Time is relativeaccording to Einstein, so we do things with time as relevance. You know how long is 1 second, 1 hour, 1 day, 1 decade.

Say the person suddenly "died"? Or the person, for a greater good, has to leave you? There are different ways to love someone. There are many kinds of love too. Selfish ones, mutual ones, unconditional ones...Originally posted by blu_sky:Yes, me too. There is only so many years we can live, why for a 5 min or 5 years, live the rest in memory (and agony?)?
This kind of love, i rather not have it.
Cold mountain. Story of a love beyond time, not logical love. Very touching. i teared and teared without me knowing ( i found it quite unbelievable) when jude law and nicole kidman finally met. And in my opinion, not-worth-it love. i rather not have. let this kind of love remains in the movie.

if i can choose, i rather the simple, sweet love.Originally posted by Bontakun:Say the person suddenly "died"? Or the person, for a greater good, has to leave you? There are different ways to love someone. There are many kinds of love too. Selfish ones, mutual ones, unconditional ones...
I could understand how he felt when the relationship was dictated by a 3rd party's advice/word.Originally posted by kuri:i know u meant well..i didnt know he would take it so badly n hurt him so much..but he said if a frd's opinions can affect me so much then he means nothing to me.he asked how would i feel if he had done the same to me and that his frds been telling him a relationship with a 20/21 yr old isn't going to work out should he listen to them?
i say i wouldnt be so worked up then i kept quiet cos i know my immediate answer would hurt him more and would perhaps spell the end of us.
Yes, simple things are really that hard eh? Because its so simple that we complicated such simplicity and can hardly believe its simple in the 1st place.Originally posted by blu_sky:if i can choose, i rather the simple, sweet love.
But such simple things are always so hard for me! haha!
