next time before you enroll your kids into a certain school, be sure to check out how flexible or inflexible the school is.. -
Our school used to be super flexible, thanks to our old principal,
Who went to Nan Chiau High School to replace the sacked principal (over the whack-student-with-book saga).
Then came this thing, which apparently got our school to this state.
People would be surprised if they knew this school has a T-Score of 234, and still increasing. -

There was one time when I wasn't exactly happy with my school's policies and wrote these kind of stuff on sgforum also.
So from my experience, I would say...go look for and consult the principal you're unhappy with first, if whoever wrote that hasn't done it yet. I think it's unfair for both the school and the principal to have stuff written about them here and have people insulting them without even giving them a chance to explain themselves.
But well...I've see the fuhua secondary's response to the student's letter on STOMP...I would not exactly say the authorities has made matters better for themselves...they didn't explain themselves very clearly, giving vague and general replies...
And the thing about the uniform and undergarment. Yes, I agree that coloured undergarment can be seen almost too easily under the uniforms. So why design uniforms that are TRANSPARENT in the first place? Yes...I know white and thin uniforms are suppose to represent purity. But please, there's no 'purity' if you can see through it. Even skin-coloured or white-coloured undergarment can be seen under these uniforms, so no point asking students not to wear undergarments of other colour.
Still...clarify things with the principal PERSONALLY before stating assumptions here! -

Wow school ger made to attend classes without bra ? If i were to be in that class with the braless school ger , i won't even have any mood to study at all . I would be staring at the ger for the whole day till she went off man . How to study like that ? And what is the aim of doing that ? Hmmmm .... And what is the MOE doing having such pple as principal ard . Definitely must highlight it and make it big to shame that principal as how perverted he/she is .

last time when i got my bike license at 16 so shiok got my 1st sport bike (NSR hornet)
every morning with 2 of my friends will skip the morning assembly and wait outside the gate until its over. Then the gate open everyone will look at us

Even if that was a distraction, you only see a small group of students who are affected by the "distraction". Do they go on to discuss it for the next 30days and fantasise about undressing the teacher? See? Thats how great is the distraction. You know whats the best? At the end of the day, the group of classmate from my class meet with the next door bunch of classmate and discuss about it....
It is the 'obvious' that create the problem. Normally people won't go like stare at you to see are you wearing bra or not. It is when people give you a glance and see 'ahh i can see her bra colour through her shirt clearly' and then start focusing on you for clearer view.
Like I said, its the individual's choice if they choose to attract such unnecessary stare from the students. If they dont like it, they shldnt wear coloured undergarments that is revealing. The school has no right to intefere in student's private decisions and choice of undergarments.
