Yes I agree that a school is a learning instituition, however, how does bannning coloured undergarment help improves the learning process? The issue here is the sch has no right to interfere in the choice of undergarments each student prefers to wear. -

and lastly, I again emphasize on the rules have been made known to students and students who insist on breaking it to face the punishment.

I never say girls deserve to go around without bra, I said girls that knows the rule and knows what will happen if you break it and still insist in breaking it deserve to the punishment in removal of bra.
Such punishment is downright inhumane. There can be no justification for such a punishment. -

If the weather is cold, especially in the morning, I see no reason why the students cannot wear their own jackets especially since their don't have an official one.
If the student falls ill who's at fault here? The school for not having an official jacket or the students because they have no choice? -

Hmm I am so dissapointed by majority of ppl in singapore coz there have lack of endurance and just being very soft like a marshmallow.
If goods things now are being taken away from us... I just won't know where this majority of ppl will be going thru thier life.
Just imagine the poor people in INDIA, CHINA, IRAQ, AND PLACE LIKE MALAYISA which affect thier ppl due to flood. They still livings thier days on... It's all because to thier endurance (A Salute from me to them).
Just imagine the tsunami victim... They still now building thier life again forward for the future... Mmh but I do not think we should compare this to the natural disasters. People here have a choice whether or not to wear that jacket... if you have it, use it. Unless you build a dam or change the drainage system, or even the whole river outage, I would find it hard to prevent natural disasters like floods. Here they just need to say, ok you guys can wear your own jacket...

I find it absurd to compare a jacket with changing the tributaries in a river. I am not asking for the world. There is a simple solution, all you need is to adopt the solution. For countries affected by the tsunamis, now they have adopted an early warning system. For the school, if they have no intention to adopt an official school jacket, at least have the common sense to implement a color code for ALL STUDENTS.
Is that not a solution already? -

For the jacket thing, the TS could try suggesting to the school regarding a color code for the students. In my school, it was either black or dark blue with no pictures or slogans allowed. Just plain black or blue.
