What did u do to forget a past relationship

hey, what u guys/gals did in order to forget a past relationship?
i've ended my last relationship for a yr+ already.
But dont seems able to let go.. in the sense that...... i cant seems to open myself up to make new frens etc.. not ready to give space to others to start a new relationship at all.. keep comparing any potentials that comes along with my ex... si lahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh -

Its in the character and the 'love' you gave. The more you give, the more you will naturally expect back, thus the more pain you will feel and the longer it will lingers.
Everybody have different ways to let it go. I just simply tell myself, "Move on, sucker. She is out of your life." Once I DECIDED that I make an effort to let it go and forgive all that had happened. I also thanked that it happened, good or bad, so that I learnt a valuable lesson.
Learn to forgive. Its not easy to forget. Forgive the person and forgive yourself. -
One don't just forget a past relationship...one learns from it...
A forumite once said:"Ask for strength to change e things you can...but seek e grace to accept e things you cannot..."

You just need to learn to accept it, forgive your partner for all the things he/she had done to you, learn from your past mistakes and move on. Try not to start a new relationship unless you're fully recovered from the previous relationship as it can easily affect your new relationship and in the end you are not only hurting yourself further but your new partner too.

Made myself forgive and try to forget.. but not easy when it comes to moving on.. accepting new person into my life..
sigh... and indeed i thank and value all that ive learn from the relationship..

Is very hard to forget but time will mend your broken heart. It took me 6 months to forget that B|oody BiT@h.. but God gifted me with another girl.
So look it at a postivie ways.. because god want you to meet many wrong ones then when the right one come, you know how to grab it tight.. -
