even if it is not in AA, even in real life, people give advice every now and then as well...it is up to the listener to judge whether those advice can be heeded or not...so obviously we cant control everyone from giving out advice?
As to whether we have 'certs' ourselves... I think it's really our personal lives and preferences... Is there by ANY obligation that I MUST share my PERSONAL life with the TS....? -
A word of caution... Pls do not go into extreme flames in here... I understand that the nature of this thread could be inducing, but I shall respect the TS's choice for now though I think the matters of inquiries have more or less been already solved...

Long time ago, at other forums. We had moderators who goes around giving advises, asking some gals out and attempting to have relationships with the troubled gals.
Then we had moderators that make use of their standing in the forum. Ie...being a moderator so means must be knowledgeable enough to critisise, heckle & muddle issues to their favours...
How many can swear by their own honour/professions/trainings n this forum?

Well, after all i have read. I think she is tring to make a statement. Voice out her views and bring some doubt into our heads on how a moderator should be like in AA , what a moderator is about , who is to give advice and what not. Advices given here by people are those that vary. Of course u must have ur own wisdom to determine which is the best one. N its no harm in seeing the views of others and what they have to say. Some are b.s some are genuine, some comes from thier perspective and experience on it and some are there to give u the hard realities of it.If not, why would u be posting in here anyways but to seek certain advice?clarification? A good friend that u consult to and gives u advice does he/she need a cert to prove that his advice are sound?Its who u seek those advice from that really matters.
And moderators with pursue of power in here and so on. Personally dont care of any moderator powers or not.If some moderators are doing an @ss job, its his problem. He will be found out eventually , replaced. In here i am nothing. But i know in real life, i am in a position of power in my office and i get to smack ppl around. -

i didn't know in order to give advice, u need cert. that means i also have to go classes n take a degree/dip/MBA/PhD/O-lvl den i can give advices to all my frens?
