Being helpful or kind just doesnt help?

regarding on the topic,do u think its true? I realized that being helpful to someone at times just doesn't help cos at times u will not get the same treatment. I've experienced it umpteen times and i'm starting to think,why be helpful to those ppl who will nvr return you the same treatment? But at times,there are people who just cant bear not to help someone when they are in trouble. What do u think?

I help people because it makes me feel good. But if people act biatchy to you even when you help them, nevermind wan. Because you can actually walk away and know that you did nothing wrong and had in fact, been doing something GOOD, while the other person is just ugly at heart.

you should do kind acts because u want to do so and not because u're looking for something in return. If u want something in return it isnt a kind act but simply an investment on ur part.. that one day u can call upon this favour again.
this isnt kindness
kindness should come out from ur heart and not your brain. Nobody's asking you to sacrifice yourself.. but try to be less calculative -

i think it depends on e person. so will really appreciate ur help n will really reciprocate when u in need. but of course there r others who u can jus forget about.

if you want to help other , then dun think getting any thing.
if you want get better treatment then you help people , then you are not helpful at all -
Back when I was a medic, I tended to wounded and ill people countless times.
Some of them were bloomin' b*stards who would bully me and find ways and means to make my life a living hell soon afterward.. just because I was a JC boy. And I swear to God, I never treated anyone differently, but those idiots chose to see bigotry where there was none to be found.
Their lack of conscience does not trouble me at all. I don't even hate them.
All that matters to me is that I did the right thing by tending to them. -
learn to draw the line between being helpful and being a floormat
yes. helping is good.
but when it comes to the point where pple ONLY turn to you for help and nothing else. and they want you to help them with the most ridiculus things, then its time to say no.
and next time someone helps you, please remember to say thank you. -

If TS feels that way. Why not only give help to person who helps u before?
Like a ah ma who clean yr table at food court do a good job,smile at her and say thk you.
A colleage or classmate helps u some simple task then u treat them good like buy food for them and gives help when possible. At least u feel that they helps u before. Giving them help back wouldn't make u lose out too badly...Compare to those who never help u before! -
being helpful or kind comes from the heart
we can only hope to make the world a better place, if everyone just chip in a little bit n find that goodness in their heart to be kind n considerate to others, it will make earth a better place to live in.
since we can't change the world overnite, we can start with ourselves
doing a bit more, going an extra mile for others -
