That someone you know, is molested and dont wish for it to be known so as to make a big hoo hah and ruin her own life.
Let me tell you a real story, happened in school. A girl was molested by a group of boys in school. The girl refuse to tell teachers and parents about it because she is afraid. Because of this, the molesting did not stop. Everyday after school, the group of boys will call the girl to the back of the classroom and molest her. This was only revealed by the girl only because she could not take it anymore, however it was only after molested for 3 years. I do not know is there raping or not, but judging that the molesting continued for 3 years, I doubt there is not.
This will be one of possible the future for that girl you happen to know IF she do not want to report. So I strongly that girl to report to the police.
Advantages?
1) No, I don't think it will cause any serious family problem. The girl were only touched and not raped. Besides, no parents will want or have the idea of their child to keep suffering from this kind of things. If it really continued for 3 years like the above case, what will your parents think by then? It will surely be worst than now.
2) No, it will not make a big hoo-hah and ruin her life if you report to the police. No one will know unless you tell them about it, am I right? I don't think reporter will come running to you and make a big news about this. However, it will definitely ruin her life if she never make a police report and the harassment or better, molesting and stuffs, continued for many years to come. Don't understimate the power of molesting + Stalking
I will definitely put a stop to this before it turns serious (e.g. rape) and learn the lesson from this experience. -

The reason why people who should be supporting her claim that she deserve it is because she indeed deserve it. It is common knowledge to us all that never meet people on the net in real life. Everything happens in the net should remain in the net, just like dream. You surely don't see things happening in your dream happen in real life, don't you? Why do I say common knowledge? Its because such cases happen alot of time and been reported a lot of times since I were a kid in primary school.
Yup, maybe she is seducing the guy, but then look around you, why pick you when people around you wear lesser than you? So definitely this is not the answer. If you do happens to wear lesser than others, then you know what I will say
However, she will be titled not only 'She deserved it' but will also be title 'Fool of the year', if she do not take action to report it to police. -
