For those who have read about my prob with my *&^$* roommate

We were on our way to work this morning. My watch shows 7.45am..
There she is.. " we're late already.. we missed bus b"
* bus stop A has the expensive bus fare and bus stop B has the cheaper bus fare* these 2 bus stops are about 20m apart.
" its 7.50 already and the bus B leaves at 7.43!" she told me
and i heard her say 7.53 instead of 7.43am. so i tot stil early ma. den she complain say my watch slow. okie fine lor. so we gotta take the more expensive bus fare at bus stop A.
at the bus stop. i decided to ask her this impt question that has been buggin me. i know she sure angry one.. but i have to ask!
" has your bf found a place to stay alreadi?"
" still trying.. easter break veri hard to find places and i cant tell you when .prob end of the week"
" er... end of the week as in Friday or Sunday?" i purposely asked in detail coz she like to hoo ha hoo ha me..
" I duno! i cant tell u exact coz i cannot confirm when he can find a place to stay and also depends on the landlord right!" She told me (tone all in CAPS.. )
I was annoyed.. hey cmon. .where got colleague talk to each other like that one. I told her " i think you shld be more polite talking to me. im not ur family or hu-ever okie.. its jus logical to speak with respect "
Then she scolded me " I've been putting up with u and try to treat you as a friend. but (i duno wad she say. but implied that im a bitch)"
she blurted out 2 instances :
1) Microwave
" you're so selfish.. that day i wanted to contd coz my microwave stew not ready then you jus put in your chicken. CAnt you wait for awhile longer?
Wa kaoz.
she really veri petty. What happened that day was,
she was in the kitchen( i duno how long) and was usin the microwave for her stew. den the microwave oven timer rang and she took it out and poke poke see see.. den i put in my frozen chicken thigh and i told her " i use ar.. defrost chix.. " and i see she stil have another set of carbonara to microwave.
den she say her stew not totally cook , need awhile more onli.. den ask me how long my chix wil take.. i have no idea too! den i jus told her " veri fast one"
Den she say " mine also veri fast"
but i alreadi put the chix in.
and yar.she bear grudges until now, n so easily brought it up shows she is deeply troubled by it.
2) " u make us late todae okie! I WAS ready all along and was waiting for you... now we have to take the expensive bus"
okie. this is a logical statement if we were realli late but wad dun seem nice is her attitude that once she is ready, we have to go! there are also times when i waited for her to go work wad.. big deal??
but i din refute her point. i jus say nothing coz the bus A here liaoz.

at that point, bus B also here ( but the stop is 20m away) den i jus refute her " no.. we' din miss B wad. it's here! "
den she say " okie. den u go take that bus LA.. " and boarded bus A. (LOOK AT HER TONE MAN>> BLURDY IDIOT)
HUR. how ? i run there like a dog ar?? by the time i run there the bus also leave alreadi lor.
How come got such human ard? She dun see the parts where she inconvenienced me and gt mad over trival issues?
Okie if thats the way she judge pple but im just in shock that she can say such things and everything is like my fault. And to shout at me is totally beyond unstanding and i have been shouted at tis way since secondary sch triffle!
im damn damn pissed okie.. !!! -

yo i think the tension between TS n her colleague escalated over the easter holiday.
1st off living with a friend will show his/her true colours. something u dun get to see in the office everyday. sometimes we gotta give n take abit. working together is hard but living together is even harder, especially when the colleague 's bf crashed in.
2nd imo the timing is not very proper to ask abt her bf accommodation prob when both of them r in a rush. it'll create unnecessary tension as when pple r in a rush we tend to not think in a calmly manner. especially with this sensitive issue where by under normal circumstances fight will break out let alone when the mind is in a "un-calm" state.
i hope both of them will calm down talk it over instead of shouting at each other like a cat fight. being angry wun solve anything. it'll jus create more misunderstanding. living in a strange country is hard enough, making life difficult for both of u is even worse. misunderstandings wun disappear by itself it gotta be sorted out. small misunderstandings will accumulate into big misunderstanding. clear up whatever misgivings u have for each other n all will be well.

u guys dun understd.. but i reali dun intend to quarrel with her at all. i've been wanting to ask her abt her bf issue for a damn long time. and she wil jus shout at me .. i felt dumb jus hearin her shout for god knows why!

TS, for the sake of salvaging whatever 'friendship' you have with your room-mate, perhaps it would be good if both of you have a good talk and agree to give each other space.
Firstly, both of you need NOT have to wait for each other every morning to catch the bus. Whoever is early, go first.
As to cooking, agree to a system like, you use the microwave first on Mon/Wed/Fri and your room-mate uses it first on the other days. I've skipped out Sundays as I think both of you might have your own social activities bah.
One of the probable reasons why both of you are getting at each others' nerves could be because of the unwritten rules both of you have about leaving for work together, eating together, etc, etc...
Even in marriages, if the couple gets too sticky to each other, there's bound to be arguments and resentment.
Maybe my 2 cents' worth of suggestion MIGHT work, maybe it might not.

i tried talkin to her in a civilised manner. but its really hard .. or near IMPOSSIBLE.. she jus shouts or being rude.. It buay tahan i tell u..

Y do u take into ur heart for what u say?? Mmmm the things u mention here seems small to me but i will not tolerate ppl who dun show me respect and shout back. Try not to talk to her too much and avoid sharing things with her. Since now u r living together, u need to point out the rules set between u 2. Share the housework so there will be nothing to complain. If sharing things like microwave is so hard to her and she wants to chu pattern, tell her to buy one herself!!
Living together needs patience and understanding...maybe its just a start that y u two have a conflict...try the point above who knows maybe she will understand and change later....Sometimes u also need to understand from her point of view too, i cant comment too much cos i dun know u and her well, but sometimes stepping a step behind might makes things work.
But if she after a while if she still do things that u really so stress that u cannot live with her anymore( cannot live with her means u felt like killing urself if carry on), Pls do urself a favour, complain to ur boss. Tell him/her to find other place for u.
Anyway is only 6mths, it will past very fast
