the only thing is to drink enough water to allow the kidneys to remove the toxins in your body...
kidneys secrete stuff that binds with the toxins making it water-soluble... and it is flushed out when you go to the toilet to pee...
that is the long and short of it...
as for the "weight loss" by "detox"... ever think that you are eating stuff which probably has lower caloric values?
