its a very common scenario. i myself also entered poly into a course which i dont like.
fine, i thought i am lucky enough to enter poly. so i thought i could choose the course i prefer out of the 4 courses in yr 2.
dang, i failed my first or second term and have to repeat a sem.
worse, i cant get to choose the course i preferred because i failed in yr 1.
in the process i still failed because i dont like engineering but after struggling thru, i grad and now applying for my interest in SIM.
it would be better for u to stick on to your poly, get a dip and decide later. u have only urself to blame for not being able to enter the course u like. but think again, its not like every lucky guy can get enter poly and a course they dun like.
dun waste time go ni-tech then go poly.
2yrs ni-tech + 2 yrs army + 3yrs poly.. by then u will find diploma too common and cant earn u much, by the time u grad with a deg, u are 30 yrs old. -
thanks ppl , now i tinking about going CAT or staying in poly while retaking o lvl... atleast now bring down to 2 choice.. anyone can give me more opinion?

I'm in SP too, currently taking Accountancy.
I have many friends who are in the EEE school, and most of them told me that it's boring. But Business is more boring. Check out the modules.
It's best if you can do well in your 1st year and consider changing your course after your results are out.
I have a friend who got GPA 3.3 in 1st semester, and 2nd semester she actually got GPA 3.8. She even told me she didn't study much.
It's all about perseverance.
Seriously I'm more interested in Design than Business, and being in Accountancy is really tough for me. I am really psycho-ed into getting this course by my parents, friends and ex-POA teacher. I'm still persevering with that course I have with little interest. -

I skipped a day.
I've been busy with the CCA Drive as I'm in charge. And having not enough sleep, I became very very blur. And I lost my thumbdrive.

It's possible but you have to start from year 1 again.

so the no matter wad grades i get for the course im in now doesnt affect the sucess rate of me changing course?

Stay in poly.
Don't waste your time in ITE since you can study in poly.
i have friends who retake O's level while they're in poly or ITE...in the end the O's level results still not good.
I got no interest in my course too..but i this year 3rd year le.
What course are you in now?

yupp.. e maths .. my maths use to be very gd, but in the end become very lousy since sec 2.. play too much -_-... damn regret..
