ps: Mao is (still) highly respected by the Chinese leaders. at least acquaint yourself with political taboos, dont assume the government will not take action. you may not have such good luck as Oliver Rudolf Jufer.
if i failed to convey my sarcasm, that's bad.
God bless.

i think the question here is not about what negatives the principal has DONE or per seOriginally posted by thomsonooi:Hey, c'mon... I'm also a J2 in JJC now... and I've worked alot closer to the sch admin in terms of organising camps and helping out in college events...
the P is really a guy who commands enormous respect, and that includes mine... If you should say that his negative outweighs the positive, then seriously we've overlooked his contributions and took alot of things we hav in our college now for granted...
if you dislike the way he does things, then remember and not repeat the things he had done which you think is wrong... not all people showcase their glamorous sides to the student population, and if he doesn't want to show the student population the friendly side of him, that's his choice...
if the forumers doesn't know, the P practically pioneered the idea and raise the funds to build a new block called the people development centre...
if you think life under him is bad, i think u can ask former jjc-ians before 03 batch... my bro is from 02 batch, and he really agree that what P did is good, and it shows in the progress of jjc as a jc...
that's my 2 cents worth...
hmm...sounds very familiar indeed...wonder who that guy was hor?Originally posted by club18:did i not remember a thread by another jc student about the principal?
it was a few months ago also posted here at AA..
the guy named the sch and the principal's name similar to TS here.
both out of rage i guess..
if im not wrong, the thread got found out by the principal, who went to talked to the guy and some how or another, the thread disappeared..
i have a feeling if the sch staff or principal shd find their way here, this thread would be deleted.
anw, i find this principal kind of racist.
maybe this article could be editted and sent to the ST or MOE?
or get an online petition going..

I don't know what's going on down here, because TS apparently deleted his first post. But I believe TS was has already prepared himself for a confrontation with his/her principal the momment he/she decided to put up this thread here. When that time comes, it'll actually depend little on the TS whether or not he can get his point across to the society. It is not out of rage that threads like these were made, neither is it reckless actions. It is after some consideration before one gets to the conclusion that someone has to stand up and do something.
My humble opinion is, do get every single bit of your facts right before you make something like that public, make no assumptions. Firstly, this is only fair to your principal. Secondly, it gives no one the chance to accuse you of and sue you for slandering.
If whatever TS had mentioned is indeed true and unjust, do not be afraid to be the first person to stand up and exercise your rights. Whistle blowing is never wrong. Make it to the press and broadcast it to the world. But that's if and only if the accusation is true.
But otherwise, do think of the consequences of such actions. The last time I wrote against my principal, it led to much negative impact (which I don't think I should specify here) against the principal, the school, and even the student body. While my intentions were to expose what I thought was wrong, my actions probably created worse impact as compared to not exposing anything. This made me worse than the person I thought was doing something wrong.
So why not try standing in the shoes of your principal and think from his point of view, why he did what he did? Till this day, I would not say I was completely in the wrong in the last incident. But the thing that I've indeed done wrong was to judge other people using my own sets of moral values. Perhaps you don't agree with the principal's actions, but what about his intentions?
Nobody is perfect. So do not forget that while you point your finger at others, three of your own fingers are pointing back to yourself.
Also, I strongly disagree with some of the comments here, saying how TS should learn how to tolerate these and that there are worst things outside school. I'm not implying anything, but it's exactly under such circumstances that tyrants trive. If people are afraid to stand up even to simple things in school, how can you expect them to be able to fight and fend for themselves in the outside world?
Lastly, never ever post anything here using the school's computer
