This was partly true for my case. However, I managed to make good in life.Originally posted by striderz_o405:if he's that intellectual, i wont miss my H3 maths placement test last year.
if he's that intellectual, he would have given me the excuse letter for being late last year and not this week.
and it's damn naive for your friend to change class just because she wants to be with her friends. if your friend cant be with her friends in class but still in the same school, does it matter a lot?
i know a lot of peeps stay in jj, because of their friends, not because they cant leave jj. and i know a lot of peeps in last year's a level batch who got 10 pts and below for L1R5 ended up screwing up their A levels. and one of the retainees for j2 this year was an 8 pointer. he could have jolly well gone to ac or nj, but just because of his friends he stayed.
Hello. I quote myself. It is not purely racist, it was because of some of the people in the group.Originally posted by TealTack:One reason why he mentioned the indian group "in that corner" is because there were two retainees who were there. They flouted most of the rules in the school and were keeping long hair/moustaches/beards ect.
One of them had actually owed money due to the Soccer World Cup, and the principal graciously loaned him amounts up to the hundreds so he could focus on his studies and his A'Levels. But he ended up failing his A'levels instead and became a retainee.
Therefore, i believed that the principal specially picked out this group as he felt that it would affect the indian students' studies if they had picked up bad habits. Also because of their personal relation between one of the retainee and the principal, i believe the principal had more attention on this group.

honestly, how many ppl truly like their Principal? no matter how hard principals try to do the best for their students, they'd still get complained whatsoever. (so dun becum a P!)
why leh?Originally posted by mengli:basically he looks alright budden i heard the principal screaming at de grand stand when we are hafing lessons. Shud b at him?!
It is not that we do not appreciate our places here in JJC.In fact, we DO appreciate it. However, put yourself in our shoes and maybe you'll know why there are so many complaints against the principal. Even though I know whatever he said is for the good of the college, I am in the opinion that he should be tactful when it comes to rules and conduct. (He tends to get a bit carried away when berating students.) By tact I meant when he touched on sensitive issues like races and world affairs like terrorism. We are afterall, young, impressionable teenagers. His comments would have hurt some people and gave the wrong impression to others.Originally posted by Darkness_hacker99:If you don't even apreciated your place in JJC, then give it to other people who want that place.

I know exactly what are the reasons of the principal behind him addressing the school with the sensitive issue.
I dont wish to say anything that go against my safety of mine as a student. But here is just one reason he gave to my friend.
'When i said Indian(s),i mean that as an adjective.'
The above content may not be a statement very true, and it is relayed to me through one of the very close friend of the blogger.Do not look too much on the above statement as it may not be reliable.
If you guys wish to know about every reasons on why the principal addressed the Indian issue,i can help you guys ask from the blogger if i got the time.
