well... my prob is kinda big.... nth to do wif relationships.... this is my prob... i've been caught downloading... well the outcome of cos is not tat pleasent... wif the current finance tat my family is in... dun think can afford fines.... haiz... as for wat i dl... they are torrents... not movie or songs... but anime... how should i do... i've yet recieve the repy from the board.... and i'm so worried...

Count yourself lucky if you do not need to go jail. A fine is a yes, but it depend how much you downloaded.

it should be a warning letter first. and anyway you can only blame yrself. but if you've downloaded loads and loads like a hundred gb or something then get rdy to pay. if it's not serious i think it'll be a warning letter. that's what my friend told me, he got caught about a year ago. dunno if they've changed anything.

And one of the forumers brought up an issue: All Singaporeans connected to Singapore ISPs share the same proxy server. So whatever you are doing, is logged down.

From what I know, they usually issue you a warning letter first. I know of a few friends who received such letters.
But it would also depend on how much you've downloaded as well... in all honesty, a few GB of downloads is pretty sizeable. -
