  I had a crush on this guy, everyone thinks he is gay but i don't think so. I only tried to defend by telling them not to be mean. If i comment that he is cute, they'll tease me to no end.

  I think it's when you feel like you just wanna be there to protect her from hurt... even if she does not accept you as her bf/lover, you still wanna watch over her and make sure no harm comes her way.
