The thing about the cyber world is, we tend to be more relaxed. We would do things we wouldn't think of doing, in the real world. For most people, they tend to relax. While they may present a 90% fake personality, they also present a 10% personality that's real, but difficult to see in real life.
This is the 10% you should catch. Of course, this applies to people that you ALREADY KNOW in real life. This 10% can usually tell you a lot more about the person, than the 100% in real life.
Say for example one of my friends - he appears to be very cheerful and all in real life, but in the cyber world, he releases himself. Look at his blog, full of his sorrows, and stuff.
And I can tell he's really feeling what he's said he is, because when you look into one's eyes, you can usually tell how he or she is feeling.
Of course, catching that 10% is difficult. But the rewards can be rather valuable. -
