But here's what i think.
1. AT the start- this condition must be fulfilled if there's anything more to the relationship than just frdship.
Guy likes gal, gal also likes guy.
2. Next- both parties must somehow agree to bring this relationship to the next level.
3. Sustaining the relationship at that level - now here's the part that some may disagree
the FOcus here i believe is on the person who has a lower interest level in the other party.
Let's admit it- there is no equal love between couples. its always one person likes the other person more.( the difference can be slight or huge but not to the point where one person loves but the other hates- remember both must like each other at the start to want to know more abt the other person)
so in order to SUSTAIN the relationship. the person who has the higher interest level SHLD always always by all means try to raise the interest level of the other party - and i do not mean sucking up or acting like wimps or being extra nice or extra pretty/handsome whatsoever.
How to raise the other person's interest u might ask?
This i cannot help u - cos it differs for every
one. somehow u have to find out how or what that guy or gal digs u in the 1st place. it can be your behaviour the way u talk, etc etc.
AND u have to remember that your every action, body language and word count to raising or lowering the other person's interest!
For guys , i think this is extremely impt
Guys must always always always be a challenge at all times-
That means u must somehow get the gal to do "some" of the chasing.
and y is this IMPT?
SO she will be not be bored of u.
How to get the gal to chase u?
SEE POINT NUMBER 1 - THE GAL MUST LIKE U in the 1st place and wants to learn more abt u ( let her find out SLOWLY more abt u)
on top of that..
there must be respect, affection and romance between both parties. -

Lets say your g/f likes to dance, those partner dances, guy & gal together wans, and are involved in competitions.
Competitors in these categories are often then not, under intense stress and pressure to perform well.
And these emotional times, will spark off emotional attachments to their partners.
Can you, in your heart, tolerate your g/f being closer to another male other then yourself?

By sharing at least one common interest.
You will share the same social circle.
You will have same things to talk about.
You will have same place to go.
When there is no common interest.
