Recently, i ask my ex female colleague to go on a date with me and she agrees. But what confuses me most is she accepted the date quite readily. The reasons that cause my confusion are as follows: she told me she doesn't like guy and prefer to be with girl, i somehow feel that she only treats me as friend, her reply to my message is very slow, she is an outgoing type (meaning she likes to hang out with friends kind). OK, i don't even know i like her in the first place... maybe i just want to have an experience dating girls. The idea of dating her also just suddenly pop out from my head. lol... i feel like i am fantasizing again.. So i will like to ask does she like me??? please scold me so that i can convince myself, she is just befriending me. thanks.

Why not just go ahead with the date first? All these worrying and stuffs will only serve to spoil the mood and your plans. Look forward to the date positively. Nothing else.

That is one thing I dislike about AA. It is that a sentence have many different meanings... Just a different way of looking at it...
For example :
Statement 1
" she told me she doesn't like guy and prefer to be with girl, i somehow feel that she only treats me as friend"
u can also interpret it as :
Statement 2
" she told me she doesnt like guy and prefer to be with girl. So if she doesnt like guy and she accepted a date from me, does that mean I hold more chances than other guys?"
lol... of coz, if TS think as statement 2, he does not even need to post in AA.
Be a man lah... U have the balls to initiate a date with her... Then jolly well have the balls to concentrate the date with her... THESE IS WHERE THE EXCITEMENT BEGIN
If u do not succeed, u climb up from yr fall, u r still welcome in Singles club and see u in AA next time... >< -

right now she is jus treating u as a fren, so don think too much and don start any form of confession if not u will spoilt the whole thing -

If she goes with you on a date when you asked... apparently she likes you enough to go on a date with you...

I agree with Kopio, though not as brutally frank as he was, still, I reckon you shouldn't think too much into the date. In fact, it's probably as innocent as it is - you probably adulterate the meaning through your extraneous thoughts.

Haiz.... today marks the first day after my date.... rather sad though.... she seems to treat like a fren. All along i am claiming it as a date but she consider it as a platonic outing..... Having a pretty nice dinner though... didn't send her home cos she says she can go back alone.... gg liao.

Ask urself this: How well do u know this female ex-colleague in the first place, prior to u asking her out for a date? If u and her ain't even that close in the first place, and is the seldom contact type, what makes u think she likes u? Also, u urself ain't even sure that u have feelings for her in the first place. You are just adapting a wait-and-see-how-it-goes mentality. This shouldn't be the attitude to take. You either convince urself that u really like her, or u should just go into this friendship with her without any hopes or expectations, and let things grow from there. -

Anyway, there are 3 positive types of outcomes from a date :
1) She still dont know the agenda at the end of the date and she have no feelings for u.
2) She understand yr agenda but still have no feelings for u.
3) She has feelings for u and will want to stay with u as long as possible...
lol... for yr case, I think it is number one. Anyway, not that bad, if u have gain more information about her from first date... Then, from those information, plan a better date... >< -
