So how? How can you translate these two realities into a set of behavior that takes both set of realities into account?

Actually i'm not very sure, it just seems that i lack parental love i suppose, because my parents are always working, so it's like nobody at home, nobody to talk to. so i always talk to friends more. gradually i don't feel the presence of my parents. the only thing i see from them is my allowance.

If a disaster happens to you (touch wood), who will you call for help? And who will want to be there to help? ... of course your parents right? so don't ditch them, anyway you can't.

I am sure there are many here that "hate" their parent's meddlesome ways.... everything also want to know... everything also want to chup... and they will give an arm and a leg to have parents like yours...

Since you did not mention that you have a bad relationship with your parents, I assume that you did not let your dislike of them get in the way of a good relationship with them. That is good. We can dislike people but it does not have to follow that we will naturally have a bad relationship with them.

That is important.

So what is it actually when you said you quarreled with your ex gf because of your parents? I think it is important that you do not end up in the same situation the next time due to the same reasons...

i always lie to my parents that i study in school whenever i send her home and then return home late. then my gf told me that she isn't happy with me doing that, she said she'd like to feel responsible to my parents. that's the last few messages exchanged before we broke up. i pleaded for a second chance but she rejected the idea. Crying or Very sad
