Agree. But the problem is, the more you love someone, the harder it is to handle the feelings of love. At times, you feel so disappointed with somebody for doing something that could jolly well be classified under harmless, and you are only behaving in that way because you love that somebody too much.Originally posted by AndrewPKYap:Love is a feeling like hunger is a feeling and just as when you are hungry, you have to handle that hungry feeling well... know what food to eat to stay healthy, avoid poisonous food and so on... you too must know how to handle your feelings of love well or you will be in trouble...

And lots of communication and understanding. Any "feelings", I feel, is applicable perhaps solely to the initial stages.Originally posted by Crystal_Dumpling:For me, I believe love is a commitment, not just a "feeling".![]()

I will call this concept: "Love/lovers are like suicide bombers... extremists" (example as per original post)Originally posted by tingal79:Agree. or Love is/or breeds conflict... without love, there will be no conflicts... this one is clearly a misconception (poster trying to be funny nia... I think) but why is there a possibility that love breeds conflict and can anything be done about it?Originally posted by lageihsif:Love is War!![]()
Love is initially a feeling but becomes a responsibility (I don't know if poster means "becomes a responsibility" with the feelings attached or "becomes a responsibility" without the original feelings of love attached... or "becomes a responsibility" as in becomes a burden, is burdensome and to be avoided.Originally posted by No9:Initial period : Love
As time passes by : Responsibility
Applies to many cases I believe.
Love is an experience that no amount of intellectual reduction (errr... analysis) can help people understand what it is?Originally posted by rathcycle:love is just another fucking bored process that i would not wana repeat...
Love is "boring"? Love is a process? Love is abhorrent, and not to be repeated? hmmmmmmm

That's what I was thinking and was about to correct you... but I decided "Love without "relationship" "... what in the world is that?Originally posted by eagle:Or may I put it as relationship?
I was about to say love without relationship tooOriginally posted by AndrewPKYap:That's what I was thinking and was about to correct you... but I decided "Love without "relationship" "... what in the world is that?
How will that work? bgr - "boy girl relationship" without the relationship?Originally posted by eagle:I was about to say love without relationship too
But I suddenly wondered why can't there be love without relationship, if we define relationship as bgr?
It sounds very drama-like.Originally posted by AndrewPKYap:How about this quote from a novel/movie, "Love Story": Love Means Never Having to Say you are Sorry
BTW this noel has a very interesting history/background.
The writer was a professor in literature and he analyzed all the Love Stories that were ever written and he came out with a formula.
Rich Guy
Poor Girl
Family disapproval
Together against all odds, at last
Then girl gets terminal illness....
I bet some of you just from reading the few lines above felt a lump in your throat...
The human brain... *sigh*
To me, one-sided love is still love... It only becomes a relationship when your love is returnedOriginally posted by AndrewPKYap:How will that work? bgr - "boy girl relationship" without the relationship?
