Love and Suicide

As I was rushing through my report, a shocking news came to me; someone I knew committed suicide and was hitting the front page of the evening chinese paper. The news came to me in a form of an SMS, a call and another reconfirmation SMS.
Much as I dread reading chinese characters, I left my office and headed straight down to buy a copy myself.
To cut the long story short, he committed suicide - probably due to love and relationship.
And my first reaction is like 'damn foolish!'
*** It's saddening to hear somber stories of people surrendering their life, literally, in name of love - whether the form existed as factors of misery or love depression. It's somewhat insane having to spent so much resources nurturing someone, only to witness him killing himself over matters of the heart.
Rikki pasted this to me: 'If love fails, set yourself free, let your heart spread its wings and fly again. Remember you may find love and lose it, but when love dies, you never have to die with it'
I believe that some forumers might have flashing suicide thoughts - please note that your object of affection might be momentarily taken aback if you succeed in your attempt at suicide, but given some time, he/she will move on and your death becomes in vain. Dying is never a sacrifice in love; in fact, it's a blatant sign of defeat and emotional immaturity... a great ignominy if one define that as part of love boundaries because that's one extremely erroneous mindset.
You will never walk alone unless you choose to be alone.
Sigh.

hmm.. my ex de ex-classmate also passed away recently..
duno is it suicide or not tho..
but my bro's buddy de brother jumped down his flat abt 2, 3 weeks ago.. bcos he had an argument with his wife and she wanted a divorce.
young ple may be too impulsive at times..
but then... love can be a hurtful thing..
i almost wanted to pop 20 panadols and kill myself bcos of that jerk too.. -
pure stupidity.
that's all i can say.
it's all in their heads. -
death doesn't solve problems. but only for themselves.
in fact, it causes even more problems for the people around him/her.
yes, you will be remembered.
but is this the way they want it to be? remembered?
some people do that. some don't.
some just cannot accept the fact that they have to continue the path alone.
come on, young adults.
you can do better than that.
what have the years of education taught you? suicide when a solution cannot be found?
if there's a will, there's a way.
please stop your foolish thoughts for suicide now.
think about it, you'll be remembered for only a short time.
in the end, you'll be forgotten in the river of time eventually.
if you live through the breakup or whatsoever the problem is, not only people will remember you for a longer time, but you'll also learn new life experiences. which will follow you as time goes.
you won't learn anything if you die.
you'll lose something, something that you can never get back if you chose the wrong path.
please, cherish your life, cherish what you have. all of these are just the minor obstacles to make you a better and stronger person. -

Well, if one day, I accomplished all my dreams, I may consider end my life ><
that is if I have the guts to end my life -
Life is short...and for any problem...suicide isn't the way out...

Not that I'm encouraging people to commit suicide, though. Just hoping people would be stronger in view of relationships. -

He either needs a refill, or he gets the scrapyard.
If he chooses the scrapyard, who are we to judge? He chose to end his life. It's his life after all. -

why do you do that? friends, counselors and even the public are the ones that are given the role to salvage them out of the scrapyard.
