Some people are smart, they juz need to study once while u may need to read and re-read 3 times before u understand the concept. But with hard work, overcoming that is not difficult.
The biggest challenger is always yourself. You study not for ur parents, or to compete with ur friends, or to enter some stupid 'branded' schools.
You study for yourself and your own future.

but the society only favours those who do well academically.

they are branded becos they actually produce results.

Its correct that they are branded becuz they produce results ...
But u cant say that results means smart plp ... So i get the idea of " u are implying that plp who dont produce results are stupid."

my 'stupid' means they are overhyped, not meaning the typical 'stupid' u n i are familiar with.
When a light bulb is faulty, a JC student can write 2 pages of theory on why the bulb failed. An ITE student may not be able to do so, but i am quite sure he/she can take a chair, a screw driver, and fix the problem for u. Now who is smarter??
We are are gd in different things. I may be good in memorising facts, u may be good in oral presentation. Its true society is often biased, and there is always someone that is better than u.

You should chill out sometimes don't spend your life studying and worrying about school. Take a day off to have fun and put your problems aside.
