I don't think they are mad at him for the $$$ as well, they jus want the truth.Originally posted by sillyme:Yes, but not totally true. It depends how much one values friendship over money.
I think B and C don't mind the money, but they were made to feel like a fool.
Then use that way !! wahahahaha !!! then A will definately pay it !Originally posted by MiX Metal:I don't think they are mad at him for the $$$ as well, they jus want the truth.
as there was a time before this incident that C is very unhappy with his job and is thinking of leaving his ex-company but is afraid that he'll not be able to find another job right away and "A" told him that if he can't find a job right away, "A" will past half of his pay to "C" every month to help him pull through until C finds a job.
I don't think we should get the family involved, we're adults no need for such actions. But thanks for the thought.Originally posted by Zarks:Tell A's family.. simple as that, Final solution and also the most evil one
How I wish things are as simple as it seems ...... when I say its not a small sum I mean its not a 5 figure sum ......... so if I can pay B & C back for A I would have done that long ago ....................Originally posted by twigzeeq:Ever tried tO get a lOan frOm A since he can affOrd tO gO hOlidays? If all cant be resOlved, u pay on A's behalf if u can affOrd it... (since u said not a big sum?) Then everyOne can live happily ever after... heheee..
Thats my worry as well..... think I'll try to convince B & C to try asking A about it again and see how things turn out before I get myself involved.Originally posted by littlestream:any chance A forgot about the loans?
i am just thinking, if u approach A with it, A may gather you, B n C have been talking. while A is not faultless but that's gonna hurt, won't it?
A is clearly taking B and C for a ride.Originally posted by MiX Metal:Here's the deal, I've got 3 friends from childhood, lets name A, B & C.
A borrow some money from B and C its not a huge sum but then again its not a small sum else well.
Its been years and A has not return a single cent to both B and C, they're pissed but on the other hand they do not want to be so direct towards A as his family is not doing so well, the 4 of us still goes out only if I'm the one that asked everyone out otherwise it will usually be B, C and myself.
Recently B and C found out that A has been going on holidays and that pissed them off even more as I can understand their thinking, If A has the $$ to go on holidays why can't he pay them back, They've tried asking afew times but will never get a direct answer from him, best part is A will still call them asking if they wana go for coffee .......
I'm thinking if I should meet A and talk to him about this $$$ issue but don't really know how to put it to him without hurting his feelings as I don't wish to loose a friend over this kind of stuffs. I did lend $$ to "A" before and he always return it to me like he said, thats why I can't understand why he is not returning the $$ he borrowed from both B and C ???
What do you guys think ??
Ask B and C to loan the same amount from A.Originally posted by MiX Metal:Here's the deal, I've got 3 friends from childhood, lets name A, B & C.

I hope that I dun have to terminate this friendship but from the way things are going ..... I think its going to happen, jus a matter of how soon.Originally posted by Scion79:A is clearly taking B and C for a ride.
Happened to me before. My friend defaulted in payment of a loan I made to him citing that he has financial woes. Turn out, that bugger bought a new car and the best part was that I didn't hear this news from the horses's mouth. I got my money back after a confrontation with my friend, who reluctantly paid up.
Well B and C should likewise confront A. If he's really financially constrainted, that's fine. But if he's taking you guys to be his god of fortune, then please terminate this friend after getting the principal amount. Such friends are not true friends. Gd luck!!
Cheers
