It all boils down to what you want in life.
I will go for big pond. Even in small pond, you cannot be sure that the snr is also nice mah. Is only the hr person who can sell the job well.
In Big pond = you meet more ambitious and like minded people (or unless you are very family oriented than u should go small pond)
If everyday you are surrounded by small pond people = long term you become like them .
In Big pond = you can hope impossible dreams. But in small pond = your hope is probably to get into Big pond. -
Contrary to common beliefs, in the 'small' pond, i met high flyers, people who dare to dream and whose dreams have come true. The company, despite small, has grown 10 times since it started 10 years ago, and is still growing. Senior management team whom i met, whom i will be working for/with, are very inspirational. They appear very successful.
As for the big companies, the management teams there are mediocre corporate ladder climbers. Maybe just like myself? -

After being so inspired by the senior management team of the smaller company, i rejected the bigger ones that gave me the repugnant feeling. Decided to accept the smaller one.
By just as about i had made my decision, received another offer from a big company again. Good news is the middle management team (people whom i will be working for/with) though appear to be mediocre, they appear nice and not cocky. Better news is they matched the attractive remuneration package that the smaller had offered.
But bad news, gotta start to be headache again!
