how can someone change so much.. i shudnt have let her go overseas.. today's our 2nd yr anniversary.. she is only away for 5 months.. i found out she has a crush on some angmoh.. today i stayed up till 5am so i cud reach her at her time zone.. jus to say happy anniversary.. she said she is too tired and wanna sleep.. so put down.. after awhile i decided to call again.. no answer... i called hp i called hotel.. no answer.. until 8-9am.. i havent caught a wink.. she answered.. she was drunk.. when drinking with her colleagues at the hotel cos she bumped into them when returning jacket tt some guy lent her.. its 11pm her timing .. they drank till 2am in the morning.. and she was nonchalent abt me.. though i was angry.. she talked back to me in a cool manner.. with slang.. sarcastic and disgusting.. then i lost my temper and started hurlin vulgarities.. she was still cool.. and she hung up.. i really felt tt she totally changed.. though i called her many times after tt.. she said she was tired and jus wanted to sleep.. really long story.. but.. i dun understand how suddenly she can be so cold to me.. i really feel like shit inside.. anyone? if u wanna criticise me too its fine.. i jus dunno where to go.. she offed her hp and hung her hotel phone out.. no one to turn to..
by the way u said that shes tired and wan to sleep for few times, for me, shes just dun wan to talk to you. and all that is just an excuse..
does she ever call you once? or even a simple sms? if the answer is no, that means its over man, she doesnt wan to talk to u..
my advise is that u just dun call her anymore see how she response... you already done your part as a bf.. thats enuff even though it hurts whn you done your part but she dont.. but thats life man...
Honestly, in my opinion, its really game over when gal dont pick up phone or giving excuses especially your own gf. She treated you like stranger too rite?

How often does long distance r/s survive? Be smart and be prepare for the worst if ur r/s venture oversea. 9 out 10 r/s break up within 1/2yr. I believe u are still young, coz most mature ppl would have juz end their r/s if one of the partner is going away for a long period. But if you guys share a long time together, such as 4to7yrs, that might be a slim chance that it will goes on.
Reason why r/s dun work is simple. Ppl get lonely there and you won't be there when they need u most. Where's the shoulder to cry on when in distress or crisis? Think ur bird had left u, so be a grown up and let it go gracefully. It take 2 hand to clap! The ball is in her court now.... Btw, student at oversea, party alot and it is 10x more wild then here!!!! -

she is in europe. i jus went there to visit her cos worried abt her since she cant get along with her partner from singapore there.. wiped out my entire savings.. im schooling still she is working.. when there she hiam me no money to eat expensive stuff/buy expensive stuff for her.. i buy her chocolate and wrote her a card.. she say i cheapskate.. her fren give her i dunno wat card.. she so happy.. she tell me its the thought that counts.. it was during my visit there that i found out she had a crush on another irish guy.. i read the letter i wanto puke.. but i still nvm.. come back sg.. now after a few weeks.. this.. i havent sleep yet until now morning still cannot sleep... imagine she tell u she tired wanto sleep.. u put down.. later u call again.. no one.. call for 3hrs plus.. then she pick up.. she go drinking with 4 ang moh guys.. drink until dunno wat.. every night she go out with them.. dinner until midnight.. today i wait for her come back.. call her.. she tell me tired.. den later go drink with them.. i say " our anniversary u dun even wanna tlak to me prefer to go drinking with colleagues somemore lie to me say tired " she say " she bumped into them and find that they are interesting so she rather go drink with them then talk to me on our annivesary." i try to remain calm.. but she slang me.. she say unti... i explode.. and zham her with vulgarities.. then she jus put down.. no more liao.. seriously i dunno.. if wanto break.. i think also good.. she is my first gf.. the pain is very pain.. and new.. to her she bo chup already.. anyway thanks all for the replies..... i needa go sch soon.. mind's a mess.

For the 1st half of the year, they party every weekend...... but when near exam, they study like crazy.... party hard, study harder too.... the once ghosty/ empty library can become so pack till u find ppl sitting on the floor to study..... unlike here... study + more study...Originally posted by dumbdumb!:i wonder how they study..

How not to party? There is a club (cap of 1700 ppl) just 10 min walk from most accommodation. And mini bar/pub in almost every accommodation building.... the house pour per pint is the same price as coca cola. So how not to get drunk?

This kind of story is quite common... Some people "change" when they go overseas, but thats because they never knew themselves in the first place. Your gf is not the person you thought you knew, or she would have never have done that to you in the first place.
Listen to the rest of the guys and start to build back your own life, putting yourself as priority. I know it hurts when she lies and doesnt seem to value you, but losing your temper would do no good. It takes time to heal so meanwhile, focus on doing good things for yourself and soon, you'll realise that you dont even want to be around someone like that anymore
