Yes, just give up, because nowadays, there's no point even trying to satisfy any slut's expectations of a guy. Money, looks, height, character, etc etc, they just want everything. In front of us guys, they act as if they're so damn decent, innocent & pitiful, but behind our backs, they'll only judge & criticise us unfairly. They, and their demands for perfection, can go straight to hell for all I care.

Don't give up so easily while at the meantime don't put too much feelings for her.
If you simply give up before doing your best, would it be a pity and will you regreted in the future that you have not done enough to win her hearts.
Even if you want to give up, give up only when you have done your very best!
And yes, you can wait for her if you think it is worth to do so but at the meantime you are waiting for her, if someone more suited to you than her came across in your life why not consider her?
