im t just turned 15. i know m since p5 till now and we're really close. m's 14.we text alot since p5 and has since cut down after dad complained about bills. but i still talk to m on msn almost everyday.we meet every week starting october this year.
m used to blog about how much she loves me. she also wrote about how she always think of me and that she hopes i ask her again to get together. i asked her before but she rejected and moved on with s. m then broke up with s and she began blogging about me.
i didnt know m loves me so much. that was way back to earlier this year.we treat each other so much so like best friends. i used to read her blog secretly. now, she doesnt blog about me anymore. but posts pictures and articles about our outings.
funny thing is, m always holds my hand and always joke about my ex who asked me whether i wanted to hold her hand when i was in p6. m and me hold hands in the bus, and m always lie on my shoulder too.
i feel the soothing "warmth" and ive never felt anything like it. i really like m. safe to say i love m. but im very very anxious everytime i try to ask her "do you think we can get together". i dont know if m still loves me.
problem is, i dont have money. i always ask my mom for money when i go out.and i always get $4 or so. im from a very decent family like every other family honestly. live in hdb, dad's sole breadwinner. mom stopped work since she delivered again.
i TOTALLY UNDERSTAND mom's situation of course. cant possibly ask mom for money all the time. she not working and always asks dad for money for groceries.
if i were to have a relationship with m, how am i to provide for her when we go out? i always treat her drinks which i can afford. but food? i always ask her are you gna have lunch at home or out, i always have mine home cos mom's the best cook ever. rarely eat out. so if m is to makan out, she always gives me money and i take her order. recently, when i sent m home, she asked me cheekily for a kiss. i wanted to kiss her so much. my lips were already close to her cheeks yet i didnt kiss her. happened 2 times. she said i shudve kissed her properly. and im certain im gna give her a proper kiss in the cheek on tuesday.
if i were to go into a relationship with m, i would always hope m would agree that love dont always require money but our love for each other itself.
m has got everything ive wanted. outgoing, hip, hot, super friendly and all. no other girl are like her. i really do love m. we are going out on tues and ive been thinking whether i should ask her "you think we can get together?".

It's good to be loved.. Money issues are secondary in a relationship.. Making her happy is not just buying gifts every anniversary.. From your post, i feel that she ain't a girl who wants the guy to pay the bills.. Of course once in a while you can pamper her, sometimes a handmade gift is definitely better that a expensive present, its the thought that counts right?? =)

eh what's the agony here? $$? hmm I guess you gotta learn to save up abit lo..spend like half of your pkt money and save the other? 4bucks/day quite cham but if your girl loves you then I think won't have too much of a problem.. Just remember the impt dates to save up for, eg. birthdays and such.. don't need to sigh la.. your situation so much better and bright than the other people here at the forums de.. good luck on tuesday haha.. don't humji la.. kiss only.. won't pregnant one hahaha..

Money should never be an intervening obstacle. Since both of you want to be together than go for it. This kind of things dont come by easy. Im sure many of your peers want it but cant have it. Cherish her man...The most go eat food court go east coast see star lor... or go her house cook. Like that sweeter mah...The more you hesitate the higher the possibility of losing her.

yea i guess money isn't that much of a problem. really hope if we were to be together we'll move on till death do us part. cos relationships at our age are really non-sense. they will most probably break up after a month or two. most relationships i've seen are all about money more than love.
guess i'll ask her if we can move our bond to another stage.

Last time when my first bf (JC classmate) went to NS & I was working, I always pay for all the meals we have outside *but he dun like it, feel inferior*
But I told him that he can pay in future once he start work

I see 2 main issues here
1) Whether the girl u like likes u too - which I think shldn't be much of a problem since she even asked for a kiss. But try not to take things too far first. enjoy the sweetness of puppy love coz u won't find it later in life anymore... haha... u're still young, so do take things slowly yea?
2) Budget constraint - i used to get only $1 a day when i was in sec sch!! That was in the early 2000s. don't have to give her expensive stuff - handmade ones will appear more sincere. anyway, u want her to like u, not your $. i'm sure occassional cards and notes will be able to brighten up her day most importantly, exercise your creativity when thinking of gifts and outings, think out of the box. and she'll be touched by your sincerity.

there was this chinese guy from china who performed for us in skool.
he was no other man. super extraordinary multi-tasker. can juggle 1 - 4 tennis balls at a go. juggle soccer ball for more than 100. so many other talents her showed us. no joke, he can really do things even david copperfield cannot.
he then advised us all in the hall. it goes something like "kids, life is never easy. you have to go through many challenges. study, NUMBER ONE.
relationships at your age can come later after you finish study okay?" there were more real life facts and advises which really woke me up.
buut i still have great feelings for this girl. maybe not now, but later when im 16 or 17 i might try and ask her. enjoi for now. -

dunno why i felt that teens at our age going into relationship is like so childish.. but i felt ur cotent and ur thought is very matured...

i think u are just infatuated to her...
cuz when i am infatuated or crush on that person i will feel the "warmth" u said when she wink or come in contact with me...
many of my friends was so happy and innocent at the start of a relationship, but so negative after the relationship... i can feel their bitterness...
my point is that,
1) when there is no love but other feelings, the relationship wont last long thus not really meaningful to go in relationship...
2) going into relationship will cause more sadness than happiness, to make matter worse, u are kinda poor and it will be hard to like go out every week or every now and then to play and these all... as you noe, in this society we get very limited to entertainments when we have little money to spend......
so this relationship is like a lose-lose situation... than a beautiful 1 yr or 2 yr romance you would enjoy...
