Your mentality, from what I surmise from your first post, needs changing.
So what if they call you gay? They are after all just kids. Fellow councillors calling you gay? Take it in your stride.
The more you fight back, the more they relish labelling you gay.
And really, does the 'gay' they label you with denote the true meaning of it? I doubt so. Their limited vocabulary prolly doesn't extend to the true meaning of gay.
So what if you are labelled as gay? As long as you ain't one, who cares?
Unless the girl you like also knows about this label. By then, just go all out to prove to her that you like her.
Stop whining. In fact going to gym, shouting, acting more 'manly' doesn't help.
You lack self-confidence and a self-identity. Search for both of them first.
When you've found them, labels such as 'gay' will bounce off you like raindrops off a plastic sheet. -
You must have done some g@y actions such as placing your hands on your lap with your legs crossed.
Go look up on tips regarding body language. It may help you a lot. -

My sec school was an all-boys school and I had to adapt myself to the culture there also(must look tough, must use english). Took me one year+ to get accepted.
Sometimes to get along with people, you have to change and to make an effort. No two ways about it...either that or be left out.
Most importantly, stay true to yourself...if you really cannot adapt to your surroundings, it's still ok. Don't do stupid things you will regret.
Please note that it's not just in singapore or in your age group that effeminate guys will be labelled as gays, except maybe in Korea or Japan. If you remain effeminate, you will be discriminated against very badly in all-boys environment like the army -

In what way the EL writen sounds like a girl ? Can a language tells a dozen things ? Than for mans arr .. must have what kind of EL style ? Straight and direct ? -
Hmm, thats hard to say. Mainly, over usage of Singlish makes me feel like the other person is a gal. Also the words that are used will make the language sound either feminine or masculine.. Like for example usage of "leh", "lah", "meh", "mah" etc will determine what the sentence sounds like and the reader begins to imagine that the other person is a female if there are too many "lehs" or things like that..
Haha complicated.. I am not sure how to explain too. Best though is skip Singlish completely when typing in forums. Thats what I do. Helps you improve your English too =) -

Also, watch your own body language carefully. If it's your voice, too bad... Bottomline is, there must be a reason why you're getting the 'gay' label in the first place. There's a chinese saying that goes wu2 feng1 bu4 qi3 lang4.
So find out what that reason is, and work on it. -
