Two Malaysian teenagers have been charged with possessing and selling DVDs that showed a former Cabinet minister engaging in extramarital sex, a scandal that led to his resignation last week.

They were charged with possession of pornographic items, for which there is a maximum penalty of three months in jail and a fine.
Police have cracked down on the illegal distribution of DVDs showing the former health minister, Chua Soi Lek -- a 61-year-old married man with three children -- committing adultery in a hotel room.
Chua resigned last Wednesday after admitting he was the man in the video and that the woman was a personal friend.
On Monday, three other Malaysians, including a beauty parlor worker and a farmer, were jailed and fined for possessing and making copies of the DVD.
Police are trying to determine who originally made the secretly filmed, one-hour video and how hidden cameras had been installed in Chua's suite in a hotel in Johor. Chua has suggested that his political rivals conspired against him. -

Dr Chua Soi Lek admits to being the man in sex DVD
DATUK Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek is the man in the sex DVD circulating in Johor.
The Health Minister admitted this yesterday, saying that the woman seen in the DVD is a personal friend. Dr Chua, the Labis MP and MCA vice-president, has apologised to MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and to his family over the matter.
Dr Chua's wife Datin Seri Wong Sek Hin said in a statement that she and the family would stand by him.
Asked about his political future, Dr Chua said: “I leave it to my party members, leaders and the Malaysian public.”
On who was behind the video clip, Dr Chua said: “Who did it and why is obvious but it is not important now.”
