I see some similarities between you and I, its just that mine took place in sec 3 (kinda same as you) all the way until jc2. so perhaps the ending part differs slightly.
Some of you know, I was very much into her. And it's only towards the later part of my secondary 4 life that I actually did talk to her and do other stuff for her.
Neither am I in her circles of close friends, but I did take some initiative to talk to her, although we didn't have anything much in common. She was into dramas, I am in to anime. She studies quite hard, whereas I slacked pretty hard, so even common topics like school, I can't last long, although I did message her every weekdays to ask her for homework lol.
But I did start conversations with her, asking her about her CCA and all that pretty minor things, before moving on to slightly larger topics like her ambitions, so on and so forth. I even had the chance to send her home a few times.
She's in the same school as me, but we are in different class. And she has no time, neither do I. So while you have the time, have some initiatve, talk to her even about the minor things but don't bore her to death, ask her out if possible. You still have the time, albeit short, doesn't mean you can't do it.
Don't end up like me hoping to have done more and have regrets.. *sighs.
