Either u make it a hard core lie tat sound as convincing as the truth or u tell the truth. Soft white lies are the ones tat trigger the arrows of doubts.

I got to admit that till today I didn't tell my partner what I did with my ex-bf... and guess he's gullible to believe so that i didn't.. and i found out his first gf from his friend which he thought i never would know... i know but i keep quiet..
My secret is with me even if i die hor.. the secret la will be buried with me.. muhahaha..

For me is total opposite, he told me his history of love and i told mine. We learn from each other, accept our mistake in love and learn to love each other better. Secret is a stress of love.

Why adopt extreme views on honesty in relationships? Imho it's completely subjective and keeping mum/white lies don't have to be destructive.
When there are questions there are doubts. Depending on the type of questions asked, severity of consequences differ. My philosophy is, what he doesn't know, will never hurt him.
For instance, if one fine day, your bf asks you whether you cheated on him or your ex bfs. You did and you choose to tell him the truth, that's just utter stupidity.
Or maybe your gf will ask you whether she looks fat. You think she does and you tell her the truth instead of answering her by saying how sexy she looks and how much she turns you on, that is also utter stupidity.
Why would anybody murder each other's libido for the sake of time worn ideas like complete honesty in relationships? Grow up pal.

no cookie cutter forumla. what is acceptable to one may not be acceptable to another. so, really, it's pretty discretionary. it's largely dependent on the individual.
many a times i find people who insist on knowing the truth but not being to accept the truth thereafter. that being the case, why wanna know. i tink a past, should be left, a past. if it's the present/current, then perhaps it is a different story.
