Why the TS so mind maturity? There are a lot of important factors of love. I think girls also got a lot of standards of choosing their B/F or husband, so just show your real character especially your advantage in some important occation.

cus i was 20 years old back then and i just got enlisted. She's 5 years older than me. Our families strongly object our r/s but we persist on. Our r/s lasted for 6 months and eventually, she left me after my BMT. I didn't blame her as I dun expect her to wait for me. She has made a right choice by leaving me. She's now married to the man whom she has left me for. She's even a mum now, living blissfully with him. From the bottom of my heart, i've given them my blessings..

my general impression is that guys don't really mind how old their girl is. just so long as they don't look too bad.
the issue lies more with the girls, who are brought up in a society which once frown on jie-di lian. most of the girls i noe arn't agreeable with dating someone younger than them, not to say marry someone younger.

If your r/s of jie di lian failed, it does not mean others' would. Not every family has the same mindset as your family. Just because yours failed, you shouldn't have discouraged others to goin for it. So there.
