  Since she rejected you before, I guess you might not be her type in the first place, or maybe she already have someone she likes, perhaps you can ask her the reason why she rejected you.

  However if you are really sincere and can't forget her, I think you might have to put in a lot more effort to make her like you.

  Basically, I think a girl's heart won't soften if she already has someone she likes..so waiting is no use I guess in this case..
