if he doesnt he isnt giga anymore xDanyways, whatever the gender, the race, the nationality, everyone lies, one way or another...the onli differences are the purpose of lying, the person they r lying to and the number of times they do it.
ok but faking is another matter, faking means showing another side of themselves which they think u want to see n not showing their true self. i believe at times ppl would fake coz first impression counts. if everyone were to show how they r for real n all their negative points on the first time meeting, it wuld b hard to convince the other party to like them in the future. moreover, after showing that 'fake' side of them, they haf to maintain that image so as to not let the other party think that they r fake. therefore, the cycle goes down until either he/she believes the other party can accept what they reali are at that time, or let the truth b unfolded naturally n probably things might become messy.
im not sayin that fakin is right, just that we all live on lies, facades, masks...to truly remove a person's mask, requires that person to b open enough n trusts u enough.

The more serious you are about love, the less valuable your love will be from your partner's perspective. Most of the time, being overly serious about love can lead to unnecessary jealousy and possessiveness....sometimes violent relationship.When love is in abundance and love is overflowing and easily available and freely displayed, there isn't really any reason left for anyone to earn, work for, pursue for love anymore. Usually that's when the relationship begins to slide down because either parties in the relationship no longer has anymore reason to pursue love.
People are lazy, when things comes easy to them, they will relax and start feeling satisfied thinking that they had already attained love or even the highest level of love. But of course they were wrong, a relationship without a reason to pursue/earn love from one another is certainly a relationship which is doomed to fail.
Don't you know that courtship is really the best part of having a relationship because that's when both parties tried to make each other fall in love with themselves...or attract the opposite parties to fall in love with themselves.
There's probably no greater joy than knowing that you have the ability to make your partner to fall in love with you again and again....either consciously or subconsciously.
And I believe we all want to be able to attract our partners to fall in love with us and also deeply wishes for our partners to have the same ability to make us fall in love with them over and over again.
Be confident of yourselves and have fun finding love. Nobody will enjoy having a relationship with an insecure lover.

If you take it as he is "playing with your feelings" then I would say you have lost half the battle.
It is more like, "he does not take your feelings into consideration or he is clueless about your feelings".
There is a subtle difference.

i met this girl and she was fat, and i was like WTF "you be givin' all dem gals a bad name". i promptly placed the entire female population into a negative stereotype which i haven't been able to overcome. i was about to turn gay but then this guy was like fat too and i was like "WTF! WHY IS THE ENTIRE WORLD FAT?"
well it's shit like this that makes me wanna kill myself..
