Go to a lawyer and say you want to do a deed poll which would probably cost you a few hundred dollars and then you go make a new IC with your new name on it.All government department would be notified automatically.No Mafan all in half a days work.

Dont fix ya ang moh name onto your I/C is better... that way, you can always change your name. For me, I called myself, john, michael, damien, icarus, etc before hahahaha....

Why not Japanese like Ichiro, Chihiro
Espanol like Eduardo, Rafael
Malay like Firdaus, Selamat
Arab like Osama, Hussein
Why must be Thomas, Richard, Harry, Peter, Alfred, Christopher and the like.
Why worship the angmohs?

my friend name is call : Lan Jiao
yeah really. he is from china.
Anther friend name is call : Tay Lang Chee.
This one best. his name : Lim jiao sai.
all these people have ugly chinese name, so they have english name infront.
Lan Jiao, now people call him, Robert, Robert lan.
Tay LAng Chee, now people call him, Robin Tay.
Lim jiao sai, now people call him Roger Lim.
Think the "RO" is very well liked by many people

Ichiro is as common as John in English but Chihiro is a girls's name....usually the naughty ones.
