U cannot give security to anyone lah, that is being silly, cos u are making the other a 'drug addict'! U become the 'pusher' if u do! The addict will suck your soul out.
Eventually the relationship will suffer and wither away!
Love if its genuine - simply shares appreciates, seeking security in another is beggarly - one has become a means to an end. In other words, one is being used for a reason, a motive.
