However, when one purports to love and still tries to quicken the pace and make it into a relationship - one is still chasing, one is still pursuing - only this time it is so very subtle. One is in-between one's ego and one's love. Once it becomes a relationship - one's ego is resurrected. Hence the melodrama and psychodrama.

If you really just want to make her happy, there's nothing wrong and there's no shame in that. But it would be painful if she decides to treat you weird or act coldly just because of you trying to be nice to her, even if you don't expect her to.
I sincerely hope that isn't the case for you, what I would say is be true to your heart. If you feel all that matters is that she's happy, then it doesn't matter.

Like I said, it depends on what your objective is. If what he or she wants is different from what you would want, it's hard to say that they are being foolish.

In regards to romantical relationships, I laugh at people who so dearly believe in waiting for the girl they like to reciprocate.
I use to believe in fairy tale love, loving and not be expected to be loved back to be the greatest form of love.
I use to believe in waiting for girl A patiently and hope that eventually she breaks up with her jerky boyfriend and hooks up with me, living happily ever after.
Time to wake up people, there are no such thing.
Seeing the person smile is reward enough already.
What else do you want?
If you withhold your love because you feel it would not be reciprocated, then how can that be called love?

well i have been in love with my best friend for the past 5 years without her returning it back. I have done alot of things nice to her, like waking up early in the morning ,going to her place to just put a piece of paper wishing her gd luck for her exam that day and then go home.
although all these little acts makes me feel great n stuffs, but still not getting the love back is slowly killing me inside.
and it's getting horrible! so whoever who still thinks that it is easy, honestly it's not. I don't know whether it's possible to love someone without being loved back forever, but right now i know it is very difficult for me to cope.
