Info on suing someone for causing emotional distress

Recently, i recieved this text. A girl was giving me bullshit text of why our relationship won't work. As she had told me how she felt, i told her how i felt, nicely with no vulgarities or whatsoever. As a reply, she called me immature, stupid, dumb, a disappointment to my parents, a kid and etc etc. I was very disturbed for a few days. it was7 texts full of that stuff. I really wanna do something about it. I have proof of the text that i sent, and whatever she sent. so is it possible to sue her for causing emotional distress? She just stepped all over my pride, and possibly took a piss on it.

Get a professional psychaitrist's letter to prove that you become mentally unstable to prove the effect of what you mentioned. No doctor's letter, just your statement equals no case.

people usually sue to get loads of money back, which in turn should be able to pay the lawyer.
btw, if u lose, u still need to pay the lawyer. so... got money to waste then talk
