  he might be under some serious delusion... some guys just like to think that they are all romeos and love saints...  

  but there are cases where female wans male to take the initiative instead... for example when she sees something she like in the shop, then the guy asked if she wanted it and he'll pay for it. In some case, she'll say no and, of coz, wishes the guy to buy for her really...

  If you're stuck with one that likes to play mind games just make it clear that you're a numbskull and her lousy hints will not get to you.
