What to do if u can't forget your first love?

you guys know something...
my 1st love was a diaster.At 1st i wan like way down in the dumps, but now i can actually think back on wat we used to do and smile and laugh.
(from a fren) how to know u haf forgotten ur love? when u are in the shower one day and u suddenly think about her, thats when u know u haf forgotten about her....
i think to carry on, one needs great support. from frens i think, dun think about her all the time(makes things worse onli). rather, focus on err...sports..haha...

First love can never be forgotten as the first love will be the first time you experienced love in all it's many forms.For me,i will trying to keep my mind off her by burying myself in my work,but of cause you can't work 24hrs a day,there will still be moments eg when waiting for the bus when you will have some free time and that's when you sometimes will think back to your first love,try to keep your mind busy by thinking about your work or some other things you like to do so that there is hardly a chance for your mind to wander,of cos having a new gf or bf helps,but do not ever get a gf or bf just so that he or she can help you take your mind off your first love as this is not fair to the other party,all in all,just keep your mind busy and erase all physical evidence of your first love,like pictures,gifts he or she gave you etc etc as the sights of such things will make you think back about the good old days even more,

Is the first love a puppy love ???? Maybe yes and maybe no...whatever it is,keep the happy memories to yourself so that when u look back it is a pleasant experience not a painful one...but pls continue to look out for your future love...He/She is on the way to your heart already...

Sometimes its hard to forget someone u ever LIKED so much!!!Esp if he has oledi taken a special place in ur heart!!Yes,its true tat life still goes on but e LOVE jest remained in e heart...UNerasable...N its making it tough for u to accept another one...isn't tat true??

First Love experience are hard to forget and perhaps unable to forget... *sigh* I know how you feel and as a guy, all i can say is for you to try and move on... perhaps if fate allows it, you 2 will be able to meet again or even better become an item again....but till then...memories are there to cherish...not to dwell upon.

I think first love is something very special, as the word 'first' say it already. Since it is your first love dun forget it, enjoy it, savour it. Although after your breakup, anybody will be devastated, it will be like the end of the world, as the saying goes life do have to go on. In scientific term love is nothing but a bunch of chemical reaction in your brain. Which most people tend to like these kind of chemical reaction. I been through it before, I too took a long time to get over it. When it is over just treat it as a dream, a beautiful dream. Once you are awake it will be over.

First love is most definitely hard to forget. It is however, also the most wonderful thing that any human can experience be it lasting or just passing. It has been a most wonderful lesson & education for anyone in life & must be treasured instead of just forgetting, especially if the times have been good.
As for being friends after that, it will just depend on the ex & yourself. Nothing much can be done if the ex does not want to have anything to do with you anymore. Life will just have to go on ... :-(

I could never forget my first love, even when I was attached to my second gf I was still thinking about the former. She showed me how being loved felt and I wouldn't have exchanged it for the world. But when I met my current girlfriend, all that has changed. She (though I never thought possible) showed me more concerned than anyone ever had, and I knew that I was the most important person in her life. Gradually the pains of missing my first girl started to fade. I guess it takes a whole lot more in order to forget one's first love, and my Dove had managed to do just that. I still keep my feelings for my first love, but those shall remain as memories, as a lesson which I have learnt, so that I can treat my girlfriend better.
Dove, if you are reading this, I want to let you know that I'd Love You Forever, And Like No Other.

I took 2 whole years to get over my first love completely. I've changed a lot since the break-up. Abandon my faith coz Im sooo disappointed. There's times I cried on bus on my way home, thinking bout the promises, dreams we shared. Cried myself to sleep...did 1000 paper cranes for him etc. Oh well, i cringe at the way i loved him...coz he's not worthy of my love at all... -

First love may be special. But in order to move on, you have to get over it. Maybe once you love another person, you will get over it. You have to, even if it's very difficult.
