should i make a police report

hi ,i need advice as to whether i should make a police report.i am currently, a jc student.
recently, i posted on my msn profile regarding what my friend and i were talking about. it was
my friend said that xxxx school gangsters are fierce but small time but yyy school gangsters are nicer but are affliated to secret societies
a gangster who is currently in my jc that came from xxxx school somehow found out about my msn profile and what i said. he got very angry and disturbed me via sms and such.
i asked him, why he was so angry and he told me his problem with my msn profiel
so i apologised but he refused to accept my apology and is set out to disturb me in school.
the problem i have here is that he knows who i am because we have a mutual friend.
he had harrassed me before in the past through spam calling because i couldnnt spell his fellow gang member name...
i have the sms records showing him set out to disturb me in sch.
should i file a police report?
the reason why i am desperate for legal and official action was because i was from yyyy school and was a ex fighter. i stopped fighting in secondary two and do not wish to continue on this path of violence. should i file a police report for harrassment? would the police allow for such a report? i aam hoping that the police would put a restraining order on him and his fellow gangsters. is it possible?
his gang i s only restricted to his school, it is not a secret society

You are a JC student right. Good. So i assume you know how to think.
Now ask yourself this question.
If you make a police report, what do you think the police will do?
Let me tell you, there is nothing they can do.
Even if you make a report, let me tell you the standard sentence they will say to you, "As long as the other parties did not do anything, we cannot take actions".
Don't believe me? Go ahead and make the report.

You can do one or more of the following:
- file a gangsterism report with your JC. Demand to see the other guy's parents coz you feel threatened.
- complain to his parents
It's best to get your parents to do it on your behalf, coz a complaint by an adult is always taken more seriously.
After the complaint is lodged, expect the bully to confront you. So always get your friends to accompany you in sch or outside. When the bully does confront you, you will have witnesses to vouch for you, and you will be on stronger grounds to lodge another round of complaints.
Complain, complain, complain until that bully backs down or he gets kicked out of school. Dun fear those bullies. Retaliate with stronger firepower until their balls shrink everytime they see u.

Agreed, also tell your parents about this incident too.And ask your parents for help.
At the same time, approached your teacher....(as Darkness stated).

Go make a police report... the most they will tell you that they will patrol more around yr sch area...
the way to control a gangster is to confront them... to me, i always remind those ppl who are trying to be a gangster that they can play around with me but i cannot assume their safety when they are alone... and i also warn them if they want to beat me up, make sure they just kill me if not i will make sure they will suffer even worse... that is my mindset at that time... nowadays, if they want to hit, hit lor... if violence is the only way to make them feel better, i can bet with you that their future will not going to be good... dun be bothered with them...

If a kid ever enountered this kind os situation, it is better to let his father will approach the so call kids gangsters head.
Ask that seow-tee not to distrub his kid go and dont harrass him.
If his kid one day return home bleeding. I will break your hand and leg. I will stalk you every evening....dont try me.
And lodge a police reports, reports to the teachers and principals and ask them what action they going to take. Better is to ask that gangster parents to come and talk over.

report police also no guts need to ask. my dogs and cats smarter than you. just go report. who say not valid. harrassesment valid. the you target will tell police you intimidate them. then both at fault police sure tell you all to go fly kite. tell you you and your ginah don;t cross my path, you do that then i call police.
