Well nitemare, scientifically speaking... homosexuals r destinated at birth. Its in your genes.. but dont worry, u wont pass it to ya child cos its not like that. Homosexual r arised due to unstable hormones concentration during pregnancy. I cannot say homosexuals r a flawed being nor i can say its a normal being. I am not the one whom should be judging u. Just remember that no one in this world has the right to judge you excpet you yourselve (or God if you r the religious type).
YOu just got to come to terms with your sexual orientation. I got a friend whom i knew for a decade who decided to become a girl (yes the complete set now.. 34B cup.. sexy) And another who finally got the guts to tell the world he is gay. People who ostracise you dont deserve to be your friend. True friends except who you are and not what you are. (errh doesnt seem to make much sense anyway)
I just dont really approve about your "sexual escapades" you know. Just try to tone it down or maybe safe sex. -

Your life have been scripted since you were 5. Your most crucial years of development are behind you. You are who you are.
Genetically you might be prediposed to have such inclinations. The environment you were in did the rest and made you who you are.
You will suffer even more if you put urself thru all the misery of tryinng to change.
So what if you are deemed as abnormal? Handicaps are abnormal. Does that mean we change them? People will and IQ of less than 100 are deeemed retarded or abnormal, so does that mean we try to change them?
This is not something for you to change. It is not possible by your own power. Someone said that if there is a will there is a way, well sometimes with all the will there is still no way. Your wil cannot move mountains.
Be happy who you are. All are different. -

I don't believe that people are born gay. In fact, there is no solid scientific prove that a gene determines sexual orientation.
Sexual orientation can be changed. In other words, you have a choice to be gay or not. Remember, nothing in this world is permanent.
If you are to ask all those gay people, you will surprise to find that a lot of people DO NOT believe that one is born gay. Some who have gf b4 turn gay later. They CHOOSE to be gay.
So, you actually have a CHOICE to be one or not. It is your choice. If you choose to be gay, I must say that, you must be prepare for the cruel world outside, because most gays are looking for ONs and fresh looks. It is very hard to have LTR (Long Term Relationship) for gays because there is no committment (such as marriage) and the relationship is STAGNANT (not progressive, such as having a family and children).
If you choose to change, then be it. Once you have choose this path, make sure you go on and on, don't look back.
Never worry about not aroused by girls or not. Love is not equal to sex. Do you love your mum and dad, and have sex with them? There are many way you can love a girl. By the time you love a girl, I am quite certain you will be aroused by the touch and atmosphere. Also, some straight guys also don't have feeling for nude girl anymore, because they have used to it (watching porno).
It is your choice. Remember. It is pointless to REINFORCE yourself being gay if you feel not comfortable with it.
BTW, if you don't want to be with a girl. You can choose to be single.

Chipguy23, being a straight guy myself (assuming you are straight as well), I do not agree with your view that gays choose to be gay. I strongly believe they simply can't. I was homophobic myself until I found out my best friend is gay. I have accepted him since and been very tolerant about homosexuality after I have come to understand more about their lives and emotions. I would never forsake my best friend for being gay but I would if his character was screwed up which has nothing to do with being gay.
Nevertheless, even without my best friend's enlightenment of homosexuality, I have my own reasoning as to why I think (strongly) gays DO NOT choose to be gay in the first place. Why in the world would any man choose to be something that society from all over the world so despises? Tell me Chipguy23. Do you understand the trauma and emotional torments that a gay suffers for being gay? I do because my best friend has shared with me. Do you realise the predicament and disadvantages of being gay? Why would anyone choose to be someone with all the "sufferring baggage"? Why do you think gays are prone to suicide? I thank God I'm not gay because if I were I would have a freaking hard time dealing with it. I thank God because I've chosen not to be the homophobic guy that I was (by the way, being not homophobic is a choice, my friend).
The bottomline is, gays can't change their sexual orientation any more than we straights can change ours. There might be a temporary change due to circumstances, for example, straight prisoners engaging in homosexual activities, but when they are released they resume their straight lives. But that is rare. In most cases, gays are as pre-determined as left-handers are.
Although seeing 2 guys kissing will gross me out, I don't condemn gays. I accept the way they are. I live my own life they live theirs. I tell my gay best friend, by all means go have sex with men as long as you have safe sex and do not do it in front of me. LOL. Peace. Don't judge because every one of us is not perfect in one way or another. -
regardless if gays are 'born that way' I strongly believe that, if 1 puts his mind to it and tries hard enough, he can change. Genetics? As far as I am concerned, that's just the supposition of people from the labs.
I dun believe in 'gays are born that way' theory. I would say it's something that happened along the way of growth up that caused the change -

I would say environment factor (personal experience) and the puberty development (hormones and etc.), both will interact with each other in a complex way, such that causing homosexual behavior.
By the way, I am one of the PLU, and I have suffered same as the others. Currently, I am still trying to change. Whether successful or not, it is still a big question mark (???). Some may claim that I am under this "self-denial" phase, condemning it hard (unable to accept self). But the truth is that the world for PLU is too cruel (random sex, Ons, fresh look, stagnant relationship, no long term relationship, unfaithful partner and etc.) Sometimes we don't have the first choice, but to pick the second choice, which is to change. 
Another question that rise is what is motive of the change: Is it
1) To conform to the society's pressure
2) Really not happy with the current situation and fully determined to change
Can one really change to straight? Or change to Bisexual? Or is it just suppressing it?
But I still don't quite agree that one is born that way, meaning that one's sexual orientation can be determined at the age of 1. If you are PLU, did u recall that you have an erection seeing a guy at the age of 12?
If you claim that one is born that way, what about those who are born blinded. Can you tell whether they are straight or PLU, because they can't see. -
I feel there are many influences in my life in the past that caused me to become gay, so if you want me to say whether Im born like this or not, I dont have an answer because I cannot trace its roots.
I feel we should not dwell on it also, whether born or influenced, because neither makes the path ahead any easier. As we think about such things, we have already missed out on other things in life.
By the way, I told my sister about myself last week. Shes still getting used to the idea, but she wants me to change too. -
