My last 2 posts were quite similar. Its about believing and accepting yourself. This will not work if you are afraid to be happy, and fearful of NOT being depressed.
The reasons are simple.
When we are DEPRESSED, there's always someone or something to blame. Anything but us because we are the VICTIMS of depression.
When we are DEPRESSED, we can be lazy and escape from our moral responsibilities. It's in our nature to be lazy and blame the BIG UGLY monster called depression. So easy that everybody is taking that path.
See how easy it is to say - I'm sad, I'm depressed, I'm lost because it is just too HARD to say or do anything else.
Face it, we are depressed because WE WANT to!!! We like to wallow in mud and get ourselves dirty because we are being PIGS about the whole thing. It's fun! We are the cause of our problems. Not so nice now, huh? Think about it and see if it make sense.
We are depressed because we are afraid to be happy. We are depressed because we are afraid of rejection so we reject ourselves first.
We are lost because we are lazy, We are lost because we are afraid to head out into the unknown and experience new things.
So who's to blame for depression. You got it - It's YOU!!! :p
Here's a quote from a Great Man -
"The moment the slave resolves that he will no longer be a slave. His fetters fall... freedom and slavery are mental states."
Adapted it becomes -
"The moment the depressed person resolves that he will no longer be depressed. His fetters fall.... He will be HAPPY!

.... happiness and depression are mental states."
Whew! I wear myself out. Curad, is this your problem?
